Sorry, but Harley Davidsons are the only real motorcycles.
You're arrogant regarding MV Agusta when you've never even ridden one. I had a 2017 Brutale 800 and NOT an issue. I'm back in the market for another motorcycle and MV Agusta is one the top of my list.

I've had Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki and Harley. I think Honda is the most reliable and Yamaha right behind. Then Suzuki & Kawasaki. I think Harley's keep selling because of the culture, more than the bike. I have a Road Glide and you'd think if I'm paying $25k I should have LED lights all the way around. Nope. Harley's are like big-kids Lego's...they just want you to build it. Or pay $60-70k for a CVO with mostly everything. To me, it's like Apple. It's the whole "ecosystem" that makes it so good. Same with Harley , it's the "culture"

I’ve only owned 2 bikes. One of which was my first dirt bike, Yamaha TTR 125 and I rode the hell out of it, literally till it blew up. My second bike and my only first brand new bike was Kawasaki KLR 650 adventure bike. Had all the bells and whistles but was SO top heavy that when I went over gravel (at 20-25mph) I lost control and hit the ditch. I laid it down and ended up breaking my pelvis. I now have 4 screws holding me together. I do blame the bike as much as myself for this accident but I would NOT recommend ANYBODY to buy this adventure bike. And also, for anyone new to bikes, TEST DRIVE THE BIKE BEFORE YOU BUY!!! And have insurance BEFORE you get on the road!!!! I cannot express that enough. Make sure. Damn sure you have insurance. I didn’t because I bought mine on the Fourth of July and had it for 4 - 5 days and that following Monday I was going to get insurance and I wrecked it right next to the damn house not even a mile from my house. My fault I know. I should have went online to get insurance. I didn’t think about it.
A lot of my family rides Harley’s too but I’ve never been a fan. They don’t care. Those Harley riders can trade one in for a few of my Japanese bikes. lol
Honda all the way, they are great for new riders, they have lots of choice. Yamaha are too expensive and arnt really that great for new riders not much choice for that sector of riders.
Honda is the most high tech, reliable and good looking bike right now when it comes to Japanese, Yamaha are kinda lost when it comes to looks, and they should seriously think about updating the R1, it is the oldest tech right now.
I love the Hondas, Yamahas, Suzukis and Kawasakis. I’ve owned dirt bikes and street bikes from all. It’s really hard to choose a favorite. It a toss up between them all. In my twenties I wanted a Harley Fat Boy until I saw the price vs the performance. I ended up getting a brand new 2001 Suzuki Intruder back then.

I own an MV Agusta that I bought in 2016. It has been extremely reliable. Amazing bike in so many ways, can’t really compare it to anything else.
I think a lot of people buy a motorcycle with their hearts, the bike they fell in love with its not always about the spec's ?
I own a MV Agusta Brutale and it is a pain to own here in Norway because of the situations with dealers, but MAN do i love that bike. Have owned Gixxers, CBR, and R1, but will choose my Brutale any day over those bikes. Still dream of a Brutale 1000 Nurburgring, but need more dealers before i use that much money on a bike.
I’m debating between a V4 Diavel or V4 Multistrada Rally for my birthday in November. Wild card is Suzuki Hayabusa.
I have a BMW. I put them right behind Triumph. But your right. No one beats Japan. Peace Cruza.
