Have you watched "YOU" on Netflix? I normally don't go in for that sort of thing but I got hooked midway through the first episode and I binge-watched their two seasons in a weekend. It's very entertaining and filled with quirky twists and turns.

Diane in Denmark I highly recommend the cozy crime novels written by L.M. Krier. She writes fabulous stories, with humour, in the Ted Darling series. Her first book in the series is “The First Time Ever” I’m sure you’ll love her work. She’s just published the 14th in the series. I have them on e-book.

The Korean drama “Oh My Ghostess” on Netflix is a very good cheeky mystery. It turns more serious and dramatic at the end as the mystery is being solved. Make sure it’s the Korean version, I didn’t enjoy the other versions.

If you like humor in your cozies, I can recommend Alan Bradley’s Flavia de Luce series. The main character is a brilliant girl in post-war England. The first book in the series is “The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie” Happy reading!

Pretty in Pink again! I did my February shop Monday but did not need fresh grocery items yet. Good planning pays off. We mostly eat out of the pantry and freezer this time of year. Only one phone call to make today, then off to the gym. I did the Peter Walsh 30 day January declutter and did actually make some changes. These declutter challenges make the ordinary more of interest for me. I am enjoying gardening books from the library , and online research for garden planning.Birds, pollinators , drought and deer resistance are important considerations . Off to the gym this morning!

Hope your ice swimming championships have been everything you are hoping for. I saved one of your video to watch after you mentioned you were taking your break and I’m so glad I did. It was nice to listen to you during my workout this morning. It makes it go by a little quicker! My husband and I just watched the 6 episode documentary Cheer on Netflix last weekend and really enjoyed it. We are not a cheerleading family but this show and it’s cheerleaders are all over our media right now so we tuned in to check it out and were immediately hooked. I got caught up in the young adult’s stories and was cheering them on. Being that you are a wonderful cheerleader you may enjoy it too! Looking forward to hearing all about your trip to Slovenia soon. 😊

Oh, my goodness! I want to go to Slovenia! And Korea.😁 My nephew married a Korean woman and they have three year old triplet girls who look like little dolls!🥰 Have fun on your adventures, Diane! 🎉 I really like to watch the crime shows that have come out of Sweden and other countries in Europe-I’m really addicted. I will pretty much read any fiction, but, strangely, the Amish novels are my favorite. They are actually romance novels and my DH teases me (I don’t usually read that genre). BUT I like them because a lot of them give me cleaning and homemaking encouragement.😆 Thank you, Diane!

You might look into the Incorrigible Children of Ashton Place Series. It’s written for youth, but I’ve listened to 1 and am part way through the second of them and I appreciated that they are fast and easy reads, have a lot of satire based around heroines of English lit (lots of little implied jabs at Jane Austen and Dickens that many of us had to read in school), and the vocabulary doesn’t feel dumbed down like some youth lit. The audio reader is incredible, but I’m sure the read version is almost as fun. Both author and reader seem to be hitting their stride in the second one.

T1 pink stripes, color-blocking and contrast zip look classic and "zippy" on you. All the detail looks plenty formal for Dress-to-Shoes (D2S) presentation. And you look perky as polka dots today.
Getting better at LOL. I am " averaging" on load a day, but sometimes that means 2 or 3 loads in 1 day and I really want to get it down to 1 load per day so it is easy to get all the clean stuff put away as soon as it is dry.
February is my "Empty the Freezer Month" when I plan to not buy any meats on sale until I have used up everything in my freezer. I have a habit of taking advantage of sales especially when I follow my "squirreling thinks away" instincts for winter. Need to adjust to give my freezer a good "spring clean" in March. I am starting to feel that spring cleaning urge.

I love P.G. Wodehouse as well, I started reading him when I was a teenager. Have you read any of the Rebus books, set in your hometown? I know they are a bit gritty, but there are nuggets of humour there, very dry, I do enjoy that.
