At least all the way up to gold 90% of people always dodge to your back to try and punish you. Literally can do the same string 5 times in a row before they even dodge other direction.
When you get read by scythe (DAir, turn backwards into NLight, and then jump reverse NAir) you can either go down to avoid recovery, or jump up to avoid DAir. It's a 50/50 chance, choose wisely :)
