Thanks again for providing awesome products for such a good price! Hopefully I’ll see this plugin in my future arsenal… I think this is a great addition to your plugin catalogue!
Thank you let me now if you like it once you have tried it!
@@HoRNetWebJust got it yesterday and so far I like it for instrument tracks, really awesome for that. I don’t want to be mean, but I don’t like it so much on vocals… maybe I have to try it on different settings to get the perfect match. Also I’d like to see more compatibility on FL Studio, the bands move really slow when I use the pre-process eq. BUT this is me being reeeeally picky and more critical that I should because I’m remembering that you guys are probably are a smaller team of developers and are offering this product at such a affordable price for people like me. So that being said this is an incredible piece of software, I love it so far!-- thank you so much!
Looks like a seriously tasty and competitive plugin. Can’t wait to give this one a try
Great! just let me know if you like it :)
Great work ✨👍 Addition of Sidechain functionality would make it even more useful.
I'e added this request to the list, many are requesting it! :)
I’m also keen for side chain functionality :)
@@CrisPearson let's try to see if we can fit it in the plugin in some way!
@@HoRNetWeb That would be fantastic.
best part, as always, is no ilok
And no serial too, just download it and use it. We only rely on an embedded watermark to protect our plugins
delta button plz!!!
Great idea.
It'll be added in the next update (probably in March)
Wonderful Plugin, bought it directly :)
Adding Input/output knob and 2 possible shelf bands were perfect.
Thank you!
well, I don't think I/O makes very sense since the plugin all works relatively inside so a change in input or output does not affect anything as far as processing goes (it's all based on difference between the smoother and raw signal)
Bless you guys for offering good plugins in these tough economic times. Is this good for vocals?
Sure if you want to improve thew recording just use the "vocal focus" preset it'll reduce the sibilants and fix the muddy area of the vocal body
so has any sooth2 owners compared this?
Sidechain and delta!!!! ☺️☺️☺️ great plugin so far
Both feature are already in our request list! Delta coming very soon! 😀
Finding Sleek very useful! Delta adds a lot of functionality, it helps to dial in the attack and release. The ability to solo eq bands with delta on/off would add to that functionality.
I am missing make-up gain control
Not bad for version 1.1 👌
thank you, make up gain? could you please explain better? the plugin does not remove gain like a compressor does (unless you go very hard on it) also the EQ does not work like a real eq but manipulates the curve used to compute the resonance detection so it does not really process audio
Finally
It's look like nice 😍
Thank you very much :)
Can you use it in real time or does it have some latency?
Zero latency like the most of our plugins, and when they have latency it's no more than 5 samples. We try to avoid any latency if possible.
Great plugin, please we need the delta and tilt frecuency response. Thanks.
Hi, delta is coming in the next update! :)
Saverio, I think it may be time to change the intro sound to something more appealing
Just bought it
I tossed it on a drum bus. Sounds good! I can’t wait to learn it more.
50 filters doesn’t make the cpu happy with this one. It doesn’t seem to be optimized for macOS as of yet
Well i think I've optimized it as much as possible, which DAW are you using? on my personal i7 macbook air at 44100, 1024 samples of buffer size with 50 filters active Reaper reports max 4% cpu usage.
Nice thing is you don’t need to use 50 filters. Especially on a single track like a vocal, try maybe 5.
@@phadrus Exactly I think 5/10 are enough usually
I was incorrect, the plugin sounds great on the first example. You will not believe it, my speaker connection was not quite 100% plugged in and a channel would randomly cut out. Sorry about that. Sincerely.
By the way, does this have delta monitoring function now?
Yes Sleek has a delta now! :)
Greetings hornet... Is this something similar to soothe 2 ???
Yep the idea behind the plugin is the same :)
Is there a trial version i can try??
Yes, you can get it using HoRNet DoIn, our downloader installer, simply click on the "demos" tab in the top menu of the installer and scroll to "HoRNet Sleek 1.0.0" then click install.
Looks nice, but I already have Soothe 2 and Smooth Operator. How is this any better? Not trying to be a smartass, I'm a big Hornet supporter (I have purchased 35 plugins by Hornet), but what can this do that the others can't do?
I'm a big soothe user too but at €30 for this compared to £175 for soothe2 i think it's definitely filling a price gap in the market for those that don't have it. Personally I'd be interested in comparing cpu usage to soothe because as much as I love soothe, it runs pretty cpu heavy for me when the tracks start adding up. Hornet plugins seem to be fairly easy on cpu as far as I've noticed, though I reckon a plugin like this has gotta be fairly resource intensive regardless
@@bd9158 I feel you indeed. I'm sure it's rock solid like most of his plugins are. I might just get it cause every time I buy one of his plugins it always surprises me how good they are and 30 is not much to spend.
@@DazhDrews6tothe4 yeah, plus where there's the option i'd always rather a plugin without ilok any day!
@@bd9158 indeed! Well, I picked it up anyway. It's quite effective but a little goes a long ways! I definitely need a few days of heavy usage to get a better feel for what it can and can't do, but I like it more than Smooth Operator.
Guys let us know if you like it and if it works for you we are very curious!
🔥🔥..is there a way to set the attack to less than 50 ms and the release to less than 100 ms ?
min attack is 10ms and min release is 100ms. I found that values shorter than that causes audible artefacts while filtering.
When using the plugin I can't start my track (with space bar) in Ableton, without klicking into Ableton again. That's a little annoying. Just a tip for the update.
yep this a bug on windows that happens only if you previously had focus on a control. We'll try to fix it
@@HoRNetWebNice! Thanks!
Want to make sure if this plugin removes both harness and resonance from the track?
of course :) the idea behind the plugin is exactly that and if it does not do that automatically you can fine tune the processing with the plugin parameters
Does it remove the resonance from the entire track?
yes it can work on the full mix too but keep in mind that you have to be very slow and gentle on a full mix otherwise you'll hear artefacts
Grazie. Bella dimostrazione.
