Great to see that Hornet is making new plugins :)
First example just sounded like it removed the warmth of the guitar and therefore the resonance was more noticeable with harmoniq enabled. Will listen to the further examples now though, maybe they are better.
Lovely concise test (but wish you'd tried it on some troublesome acoustic drum or whistly/room boomy vocal or badly dissonant virtual synth patch... perhaps in a follow up video?) of this seriously good plugin.
👍🏻👌🏼
Hornet make some EXCELLENT plugins, their ultra low prices and ultra simple GUI shouldn't deter or fool customers.
Thanks for your video. How does this compare to Soothe2? Which would you recommend?
Hi I can help with the comparison. these two plugins are completely different, soothe (like our own Sleek plugin) removes resonant frequencies as they appear in the sound in realtime. while HarmoniQ first finds out the fundamental frequency of the tone then computes up to 60 harmonic frequencies and search for peaks of any frequency between each harmonics. if any of these peaks are found they are processed with a notch filter.
@@HoRNetWebThanks very much for taking the time to reply to me. Very much appreciated
@@davidchurch8828 No problems! and if you are interested in any of our plugins and have questions just reach out we are always happy to answer! :)
Sounds like a bland maker to me
Explain 😂
@@g.o.9513 sometimes the resonances make the character of an instrument. if everything is super even and nothing sticks out of the mix, it doesn't necessarily make it better. Some of it's choices on the AG didn't sound good to me.
@realraven2000 wow! I had this same experience with soothe 2 omg. Glad it's not just me.
@@realraven2000 hey thanks for responding fr
@@realraven2000 Agree but not using it at 100% and just taking out some of it works really well.
