    Michael Brauer mixed a record I produced back in 2015, and I can confirm he indeed used a pair of LA-3As on the piano. But he was mixing on his SSL9k still, so that was the EQ.
    I think it's more about the character of the LA-3As and them running as dual mono that gets that sound. The EQ is to taste and there are a lot of EQ choices that will work.

    Great Video, is great to process in dual mode. For me, the teletronik LA-2 works better (the 3 gives a bit of a 3k boost) also in dual mono. Nad for the EQ always clean the pianos in the 300/600 hz area helps for round the Lows.
