Thanks Daniel ! I am one of those folks who didn't realize there are so many varieties in the Mercury Dimes ! I knew of both the 1942/41's but not the others. I have a complete set but no loose ones. I'll have to check my set !

Good Evening Daniel!🍷 From the ones I have seen, including my own, the 1916D'S seem to be worn much more than any others! Is that simply because all there has been left for me to see are a few badly worn ones? Or is it something about their makeup?

If you want a lower grade certified and encapsulated for lower cost- ANACS. They recognize more varieties too.
I love finding rpm’s. Thanks for the vids Daniel!

Thanks for the in depth merc dime vid. My favorite US coin design by far. It was the coin that got me back into collecting. Still got my first 16 d I got from you raw 3 years ago. Hope you have a great day as well. 😎👍👍

I only have one of those that you showed - 1945 micro S. Got it out of a junk purchase at my LCS. My guess on the grade is 40ish.

Thank you so much for you're support and mention of the USA! I only by from the US as well and refuse to spend elsewhere. It can be crazy but hey I'm an American.
So, I'm sure they'll be some crappy comments made to me about saying this, but here it goes.
So, I don't collect let's say I love money and if something catches my eye we'll I hold on to it. Instead of checking anything in a reasonable time frame. I wait until I either need money, have so many coins I don't have a place to keep them until I can sort through them( of course I don't know why, I have zero clue what to look for, but sort through them amyway.) Or I'm moving, remodeling or something where as I have to move these large heavy jugs around. I fortunately (I think) have/had a job where I receive tips. And sometimes something will catch my eye or I just feel I need it and if it's not from a tip I still have the opportunity to buy it. I have watched millions (exaggerating) of videos and I am so so confused. I recently have only just discovered you. I haven't had the chance to watch many videos at all yet. I will say I feel it is necessary to mention not only your support for the country we live it, but your demeanor, your tone but mostly your willing to share with everyone what you have learned. You show others what they should look for from other apps etc and you do it with professionalism not slander. You do it out of genuine concern and wanting to help others. That's what I saw from the very 1st video and that sir is what has hooked me and why I've turned a few friends to check your videos out. I'm off to watch some of your play list now. But just say thank you so much for being you! I'm sure after I watch every single video possible, I will finish with zero disappointment. Thank you again so much! Stay genuine and God bless the USA!
    Sincerely,
    Tammie 😊

I just watched this video to the end just because I was wondering if you were going to even mention the 45 Micro S. That is one I bought (I think F-12) from a coin shop as a kid collector in the early 80s after the price of silver had crashed. For MANY years it was the only Merc Dime I personally owned. But I wasn't sure if it was even worth placing on this list.

How do you find these? Good luck with the Mercury dimes. Where do you find them, without them already being plucked or paying large premiums at a coin shop. Maybe a garage sale?

I can attest to the rarity of DDO or DDR coins in junk silver. I think besides some machine doubling on a Franklin reverse I've yet to find any others. Quite tough!

Lol. I’ve been checking those dimes I buy from you. The last batch filled 5 slots and I upgraded two. My rejects get made into pins that I give away.

The1928 large S was caused by the mistaken use of an old 1880-1890s silver dollar S punch until the mint figured out that it was happening. That incorrect punch was also used on 1928 cents, quarters, and halves early in the year, so it did not get used on nickels and dollars. Source: David W. Lange

I'm a newbie & have been at it for a couple years in my spare time. There is so much to learn & I would like to know the best way to see the coins that are not so easy to see.
I'm in it cuz I enjoy the hunt. I have a very little 10× & Even smaller 20×. I also don't know what to use to take good pics. I'm in it for the hunt. Unless I find something I can retire on.
LOL I'm at retirement age close to it. Young 1960
Thank u if u can give me some good advice. Help Full Info.
