that first to second shift is deep...from red line to 3,500 rpm.
At the track is where the Competition pack shines,stiffer shocks,reworked e-diff and a bit more power but it weights the same or more.Straight line performance is the same or almost imperceptible, Autobild and Sport Auto tested both M4 VS CP and the numbers were very close,in some cases the non CP M4 was a bit faster
So the competition version is just a tiny bit faster after 200 km/h? :P

ok so basically the competition package gets to 0-250kms 3 secs quicker. its alot beter in top speed that makes sence.

But you started at 4,000 RPM on the competition package and at 3,000 RPM with the other...
+MeatyPotato Cactus Indeed it was but the RPM launch control can be adjusted by driver, it can either be raised or drop depending on the driver's preference. The competition package shifted first since it started at 4,000
Despite the rpm difference, m4 non comp pack. was accelerate faster till 100km/h. after that point m4 with comp pack. faster
how does the exhaust have so much crackles and pops at 0:20??? did u do something to it or is it the stock sound for the competition pack?
It's the stock sound, the comp has an exhaust button u can press to make it crackle an pop, I know this cause I have a comp.
M4 seems faster up to 170kmh ???

Agree with you. The RPM launch control can be adjusted (raised/lowered) by the driver... so I assume they forgot to set both cars launch control at same RPM...
So the standard m4 hit 100kph when the comp hit 98kph…so the standard is quicker 0-62mph!
I’d heard this had happened in most tests and seems to be something to do with the larger wheels on the comp.
Absolutely not difference between those cars 20 HP are not enough. A simple remap of a normal M4 can changes the acceleration numbers

Same time, but pause the video when the standard hits 100…the comp is at 98
They would be neck and neck in the real world, you wouldn’t notice a difference. Comp pack only starts pulling from 200kph but it’s marginal.
