270 from 300 is not such a distance and could easy reached with some tuning
@@nickem7 A lot of tuning to reach 300 km/h, it probably needs 450ps, that's probably upgraded turbo, ECU, intercooler, injectors, exhaust, manifold.
@@JuanGarcia-zq5tp with mine i easily reached 274km/h without any tuning so i guess its not that long road to reach 300

I drove rental seat normal version of leon, and even though it is not fast, the feeling of handling it was very nice.

Nice Car, but the scaling from the speedometer is horrible. 100,120,200 and 250 is missing.

You have from 0 to 30 in a 10 increments, then from 30 to 150 are 20, and from 150 to 300 the increments are 30 km/h. Seems good to me.
its a worse scaling and very very hard to read it. its pretty inaccurate the whole scaling.

The car is impressive. The real winner though was its fuel tank. It literally never dropped.
I drove it for 300km with 360hp chip... Using is as toy- Average 16L/100km which is impressive. 2.6 bar of boost tho...
@@wdowa94 Sure sure, but thats imposible, 1.6bar of boost makes around 450-500hp on a hybrid turbo.

@@wdowa94 No, you have no idea what you are talking about. 2.6 bar of boost even if it's absolute (which would equal 1.6 bar if you know what I mean) wouldn't give you 360hp but a lot more if the engine is prepared. That level of boost is diesel territory.

holy cow that's a nice car
Man i got a cupra 280 DSG. This car got the power for his 280 HP and when i'm normally driving the car, accelerate a couple times faster than normal, it's still 8.5L/100km. Even if the Cupra is my first car, I don't think i will change it in the next 10 years.
Would be fun too see old cars on autobahn and maxing them out! just a tip!

Absolute rocket. Love it. Subjectively, it loses out slightly in terms of its excitement compared to the i30 N, which is still fun to drive at slow speeds, but this is so excitingly fast... fantastic car.

I drive an old 6 cyl. 330i E92 272hp, which I love. I'm thinking of swapping it for a SEAT Leon Cupra 300 or the equivalent Cupra Leon VZ. I've had a Leon Cupra R mk1 since new (2003), put 310.000 km on it, but it got stolen last month. Don't know if I should stay put with the 330i or upgrade to the Cupra 300.

i have a Cupra R mk3 310hp🤩 manual, love it!!
161 mph on that run, it has some speed. In real day to day driving it’s hard to ever get above 150mph anyway. This is probably all the car you’ll need aside the estate version.

Yes, it is a volkswagen, did you know Volkswagen group also owns Ferrari and Porsche?
Yes, it does 0-100 in idk 6 seconds... it's FWD, nobody cares.. handling is exceptional and fast rolling acceleration makes up for this.
It's lightweight, basically no turbolag, it's quiet, it can be loud just enough, comfortable.
Suspension is on point, great visibility, very good price in this category, reliable.
Perfect car imo.

Mucha gente de fuera de España cree que Seat por ser española, es una mala marca....una de estas bestias es brutal y por poco mas de 30.000€!!
Drakon es grupo vag, lo se, pero para mi seat siempre será española....es igual, en todo caso, digan lo que digan, seat es una buena marca con buenas mecanicas y este leon, es una maquina que no tiene nada que envidiarle a algunos alemanes!

u know that speedometer speed is nowhere near gps speed?
There is a certain amount of risk driving with such speed difference on a 2-lane highway. Passing trucks with 200 km/h or more is simply nuts. Look for pics of a Leon Cupra, eaten by a truck, lane changing some hundred meters ahead.

@cupracarmainia . Check him out (not advertising) it’s my dad and he has a Cupra 300 and has mods to it. So if you are considering they are good choices. As we hated the old one

It's a launch control : Full on the brakes and next full throttle ! Then release the break to go forward ;)

alguien me puede explicar porque hace mas ruido el cambio cuando se sube marcha con las levas a cuando sube el en automático en modo S???? en modo manual con las levas el petardazo que mete cada marcha a subir es notorio, en cambio en el modo automático S es mas silencioso el cambio....

Paul S.Reyero ofc seat ain’t German. But I doubt VW says here take our engines, drivetrains etc and built whatever you want. VW says what limits these cars have joe they are built. Otherwise they would rival VW way to much so VW limits seat.

Egemen Öztürkmen yes sometimes in lower gears the cupra shifts a little Bit slower so the gearbox dont get a Hard Kick
