I have oily skin. I use gel moisturizer, tinted matte sunscreen and tinted suncree powder and i am good to go. Guys if your sunscreen feels heavy here is a little tip always top it up with any powder, it works wonder 💪🏻
Sebum production is not due to lack of moisture it's because of gens and genetics. You only make it worse by using hydrating cleanser on your oily face ( it's not gonna clear enough and plus surfactants hold on to oil so that is why dry skins shouldn't use harsh suftactants because there is no oil on face for surfactant to hold so that is damage your skin barrier and dry you out)

havin too many occlusives in your routine with acne prone/oily skin can cause issues. However as long as your skin complies with the products and doesnt break out as a result you should be good :)
Humectants and moisturizers will not. As above comment mentioned, occlusive components such as waxes, oils, resins, and hydrogenated oils/fats, will. I use the Cetaphil deep hydration gel cream, and I have kind of oily skin; despite its richness, it has no oils, but moisturizes my skin without breakouts. Anything with shea butter or rose oil, will make me break out.
