    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I guess a lot of us anxiety sufferers have searched up our symptoms without giving it a second thought. But it is something you should give up right away as it is a huge obstacle in your recovery process.
You have to understand that your mind, in this anxious state, acts like a sponge for negativity and catastrophic scenarios. Simply looking up symptoms will feed your mind with hundreds if not thousands of horrible and devastating results and scenarios.
But that is not all. Because you are under constant stress and fight or flight mode is constantly up and running your brain easily connects the results with your symptoms. A heart attack seems a lot more plausible for feeling the way you do than a panic disorder after all… at least in the current mental state you are in.
Finding and reading up on all those horrific illnesses will only make you more aware of your body and the way it is feeling. Symptoms you did not experience or were not aware of suddenly become the center of attention as you now know that these can be a sign of a certain disease and down goes the spiral….
You may find some short term relief by getting reassurance from a doctor but your underlying anxiety disorder does not simply vanish. So even been given the “ you are physically healthy” will not stop your symptoms to pop up and that is the reason why so many of us are tempted to self diagnose ourselves and find alternative explanations. It is a cycle we can never break out of if we do not find the courage and the strength to finally trust our doctors….

Yuppp i know how debilitating anxiety can be. Its incredible how powerful our subconscious is. It is in need to find some plausible explanation for all of this.
Try building up your body with exercise. It was something that truly helped me a lot. Once the body feels better or actually good your mind will be more positive and acceptance a lot easier!

Improvement Path I do exercise 4times weekly , i take Vitamin D3 2000IU one a day in winter time , omega3 3,4times a week, magnesium 4,5times a week , it’s helping me that’s true but again there is 20% of day that’s always can trigger you a panic attack , anxiety, headaches ,tingling , so iv’e just accepted anxiety it the way it is , live as much as I can , travel , sleep enough , work etc......

Thats great and it sounds like that you are on the right path. Have you been keeping up the habits for a while now?
Yup, you have the exact mindset as i had when i finally started to recover.
I have anxiety so i should make the best out of my life. I gave up a lot of things that i thought were not bringing me any hapoiness in my life. I quit a good paying job and switched to something i enjoyed for example. Digging deep and finding a root cause might be something that would help.

My fears now centered around cancer, and I cannot go to the hospital because of the curfew 💔💔 I feel i had cancer and it spreads in my body and i’m dying

I'm so glad that I'm not the only one going through this! And the part where he said that symptoms didn't show up until after googling them is so true. Like recently my left foot went numb and when I googled this, it started telling me that I had MS, stroke, ALS, Parkinson's, diabetes, etc. After reading all of the symptoms further I would somehow start feeling those exact symptoms, which would make me convinced that I have those diseases. I would start having severe anxiety thinking that I was going to die. After watching this video, it helped me feel relieved that I'm not the only one going through this. Thank you

It's basic human tendency to relate to the worst illness possible provided as the result on Google as to gain conformity of being out of danger. But as soon as only 1 symptom matches to the worst of the worst disease, even which Google considers rare, we feel all the symptoms and start panicking. I shivered a whole day and even got fever due to this shit. And after 2 days I'm normal as heck...

Thank you for this channel and this amazing presentation guys. This channel was the only one to understand me when I first understood and learnt about my anxiety/panic attacks. I had hope after understanding what were panic attacks and what was really happening to me - today I’m way better than before.
My anxiety triggered my hypertension. I’m on medication to control my High Blood Pressure but I’m feeling way better now that I know I’m dealing with. My eating habits and fitness life have improved BUT GUESS WHAT NOW? Since I’m losing weight and that is what I wanted, I’m now assuming that something else is wrong with me. See, knowing that my mom died of cancer 9 years ago - all my assumptions are revolving around that particular chronic illness. My body would created every symptom because I’m constantly thinking of the worst. One moment, Cancer and the next Heart Attack, Stroke, etc.
Thank you for bringing clarity on this video - I will immediately stop googling stuff because yes, I do attract negative thoughts into my life and the feeling is not so great afterwards.
There is a old African Proverb that says “if you can deal with the enemy on the inside, the enemy on the outside can do you nothing”... My body is in a healthy state and I’m feeling good when I’m around people until I go deep in thoughts, that’s when all my triggers take control over my mind and soul.
Our thoughts can either push us to our future or become our worse enemy. Anxiety is my worse enemy but what else can I say, pray for your enemies rather than to worry about them... You can only win from there.
WHOEVER IS READING THIS - You are a WINNER and you’re in control over your body. Strength to you - may this Test become your victory Testimony one day.
Now that you know the trust, never let an old flame burn you twice.
Love and peace from Durban, South Africa 👏🏽

However, it's not my middle chest, it's my left chest. It's common knowledge that your heart is located in your left chest, so I boosted into Google and searched "left chest pain" and literally ALL that I found were heart related issues. But I live a healthy lifestyle and I don't have a family history of heart disease/s. So yea, now this dumbass anxiety is causing me this heart-like ache, now I insanely regret it.

@@jeffma7507 maybe try something for calming. If you can't get a small dose of a benzodiazepine to use just once, try Passionflower, or Californian poppy, for a couple of days. They're pretty much completely harmless, but have decent anxiolytic effect. If your symptoms get better on those, it will give you a "proof" of just how powerful somatization can be, and that might help you realize it's possible to self-induce symptoms of an illness you don't have.

I'm in this phase again and I feel so tired of excessively worrying over and over. Whenever I feel something new, I google it right away. I know my symptoms are just because of stress and super worried about covid esp back in 2020. I believed I had a neuro disease but my doc said I'm completely fine. What stress can do to the body and mind is really destructive. To the person reading this, thank you for taking the time to read my comment. I don't have other venues to vent this out because my family is tired of my worrying...

I'm currently at this stage, in my early twenties and this has become my daily lifestyle.... Just finished writing exams from which I guess the stress had caused me to loose weight and it's like from 52kg now I weight 50 but my relatives often tell me I look sick, omg what's wrong with you are you dying? Googled the weight loss even though I skip breakfast most of the times or eat once a day, drank very little water I still googled and got all types of cancers and kidney failure, heart problems and this has caused me to worry more
now I'm on a deworming treatment as the internet has convinced me that I have a parasite In my body eating up all my nutrients it's gotten so bad cause I constantly feel like shit, weak, unmotivated and of course this just makes gaining weight harder, that and not enjoying the meals I take, with been eating the same dish for over 2 weeks now.... but ofcourse I still feel the Google results can be true and this medication for deworming comes with side effects of its on it sucks

I started to worry ever since I experience some symptoms and anxiety causes to increase every week. Been overthinkin about my symptoms. I felt sharp pain all over my abdomen and kidneys that only occurs once or twice through out the day and only last for a second. Also felt some fatigue and tiredness. Cause of this I've been to the ER thrice in 2 weeks for excessive worrying about my symptoms. I had done chest x-ray, CKG, urinalysis for kidney, blood test for organs and everything and all came back normal and told me I was young and healthy. I too had that fear and many symptoms that actually resembled it. Its always smart to get an initial reassurance from an doctor and then dedicate your time fully to recovery.

I was having panic disorder i would always search about it and would find more negative things. Due to this i then went into clinical depression, then i would search about depression and my biggest fear was that i would commit suicide due to depression which i didn't want but my mind would always stress on it.
