I like the left hand singing and drive, but the right hand is too much almost everywhere in the same range, ie., loudness and quality, and too heavy, giving a feeling of a mechanical thing (not good for Chopin artsworks, including the études); instead it could be more varied, living and light (as in lightweight) ! Think of a feeling of a butterfly, feux-follet, something living flying, happy, alive and living...
Hey thanks for the comment but I must say I almost took your comments seriously until you mentioned Chopin competition. The competition is a joke. Plus you have no idea how light my hands are.

@@MathieuPrevotLighter hand means lighter sound and yes, I agree the sound is important but it can vary on many different element. You can't have an absolute value when listening to a recording because the sound can vary depending on the piano, hall, number of mic, distance of mic, and many things. In this case, I could have lessen the proportion of the ambience mic. to make it much lighter but that's not what I wanted. Also, I mentioned the Chopin competition because in your previous comment, you said something about not being good for Chopin Competition. The competition is a joke because the judges can't play piano and doesn't have a clue on what they are doing.

Well, to me they are not any kind of authority, and most of the time I disagree with their choices. Same with DG, it's now too "american" and commercial /marketing oriented / colored.
