Very nice. I’ve collected all the old blue for years. I’m 60 and I guess I started about 30. I are all marked and from late 1800’s. When you look at the back of a platter, the old ones have four tiny holes where they sat the plate on the drying rack.
Your home is just so beautiful! I especially like that your decor incorporates your dark woodwork. Our house was built in the 70's and we also have the dark woodwork. Every time I contemplate painting it white, I just cant bring myself to doing it. I've always loved blue and have some of my grandmothers pieces that I treasure. I also have a ton of blueberry pottery, it was 'my thing' a while back, often visiting a pottery shop in Maine where it was made. Thanks for reminding me of those. Heard you call the cake stand a pie rack. We use these stands for 'Afternoon Tea'. Sandwiches ( egg, salad, chicken etc) on one plate, then mini cakes on other two plates. Saves room on the table when having a group of friends. 'High'Tea' would include meat in the sandwiche selection.
I’ve are already commented, but I just have to tell you. After loving your long cutting board I went to Goodwill and I couldn’t believe my eyes, there is was a gorgeous long cutting board!!! I’m so excited, now I just have to figure out how to make mine look as good as yours!

You have so many beautiful things! I admire them all. I have to say that I'm really coveting your tea leaf stoneware pitcher that lived on the bottom shelf of the built in hutch (11:48)! That was a big undertaking to go through everything and reassess where you wanted things to land. I liked your room before - but I LOVE it now. It's a much cleaner, more restful look and it came together so beautifully! Just moving those furniture pieces made a huge difference in the feel of the space. And I like the touches of blue. How lucky to have a MIL who quilts. Even luckier to have a MIL who gifts quilts to you! The one on the back of the settee looks like it was custom made to go there and the pillows are a nice accent without being matchy-matchy! Oh! And that humongous crock is fabulous! Its size gives it such a presence and it looks great on the seat of that chair, which I also covet! 😂 Good thing I live far away! Well done! It's a really great update into a bright, serene room where I think I'd enjoy spending time! 💙
