I needed to make a booklet and I tried using the booklet template, BUT, when I printed it, it came out weird and not in order. So, I was told to open a normal a4 size page-landscape and split that page in half by adding guidelines. That works much better that using a booklet template

At around 1:38, you said that that icon would take a regular sized paper (8.5x11) and fold it in half. A4 paper is not 8.5x11. The third icon from the left is the one for those particular dimensions.

So I feel great today to have found a video training finally that is much closer to answers than others I have watched over the past 3 months. I still have one questions though, I need assistance or education on learning how to insert full color HD childrens illustrations created by another 3rd party.
I have submitted my book as ebook successfully, but for print have been redflagged on correct size for gutter and bleed for 8.5 x 11. I send it back to illustrator, he says there is no need to adjust. I am confused by all these "professionals."
I would rather just learn to do it myself, because they are all saying they can help, but need to pay over 280-300 to have size formatted. Yikes.
