  • Michael Andrew has had unprecedented success as a junior-level swimmer -- more National Age Group records than anyone, several World Junior records. Now that world is behind him, and he will be looking for his chance to step up to the big leagues at the 2018 Phillips 66 National Championships.

    • @tenningale
      @tenningale 5 лет назад +11

      Same format as one female Australian Olympian, forgot her name... Dad is her coach and they swim in a small 25m pool like that.
      A lot of it is just natural ability.

      @yg9912 4 года назад

      Teddy Devaney I know people that went 21’s and 22’s as 12 year olds and weren’t nearly as tall. I’m not tryna hate on him but he wouldn’t be where he is without his super lucky genetics.

    • @teddydevaney3883
      @teddydevaney3883 4 года назад +1

      B Ô T okay but what’s happened as an age grouper doesn’t matter anymore, he’s taking on Dressel, manadou and more while being only an inch taller that Dressel, and several shorter than manadou, also he doesn’t have as much muscle mass as either of them

    • @yg9912
      @yg9912 4 года назад

      Teddy Devaney is he really challenging them though? Manadou maybe but not Dressel. The last good meet he’s had was nationals last year. Since then he hasn’t medaled in the world champs. Although he was close he got beat by a 39 year old in the 50 fly and got 4th. Also, he hasn’t done much in the ISL either. He’s a great athlete and probably better than I’ll ever be but he’s not as good as you make him out to be.

      @Underw0rld4 6 лет назад +7

      phil null cody said that caeleb was basically a lock to win all of those events even possibly with world records, he said his best shot at making the worlds team was in the 50 , not beating caeleb. Also michael said that was his goal by the end of his career not now
