When he spilled some tea on the table 😂
Knowing how much Mike can eat in one sitting,I think he headed straight to Chinatown for more food after this. Lol
Love Crab Head!! Thee BEST PART!! 🤤🤤
Goofy Walrus has arrived😄 16:48
Those dishes at the private restaurant were works of art!
They look kinda cringe actually. Gimme a $5 shumai, hargow and lorbakgoh any day and I guarantee it will be tastier
@@togo7022looks like u missed the forest for the trees
Do y'all remember when Mike would go to some back alley restaurant and have amazing noodles?? .. 🍜 .. I miss that 😔
That first soup though 😋♥️
As San Francisco is in a 'Death Loop', it looks like he's been getting invitations from the various restaurants to come and make a video about them. They hope it will get them vacationers.
I see your point, but I kinda like watching him dine luxuriously. Makes me aware of how the "other side" lives lol. And he certainly deserves it!
Agree…. Miss him finding an $2 hole in the wall noodle soup… don’t think I’d ever pay $25 for soup.
at 16:53 - the peking duck dish looks like a googly face, lol.
All the dishes look good, but the turnip/brisket soup looks really really good
*Duckfat* popcorn?! That's a heck of a nice snack to take home.
That is Molinari at Columbus and Vallejo in SF. Great Sandwiches!
As an adult, I love bitter food. Not super bitter but just enough to change the flavor of what your eating. But it's something I saw we get use to as we get older, because as a kid I'm all about sweet and sweet only like ketchup.
you know the wok cook is legit when u see the oil burns on their arms
That private meal looked fantabulous! The beef and turnip dish reminded me of my grandma.
when he poured the tea on the table 🙁
I recently saw a movie about a place like this. If it gets crazy make sure to ask them for a real burger!
*cheese
Was it the menu?
The Pineapple Cake sounds good!
dang that turnip beef soup looks bomb
At 8:23 his driving at the Embarcadero. A place called Delancy Restaurant is good! Most of the workers are ex-cons which is great to get a new start.
Not sure when you were in San Francisco but it’s been warm and sunny since Sunday. I love Harborview. The view alone is worth dining at that restaurant.
Oh ooh never heard of such a restaurant, that was really amazing looking.
Loving the trance music
Those little plates that u eate from looks like what you get in the Japan snacks box. God bless you always 🙏
I do like it when you dip into some fancy food
As a Chinese American who used to and still has family and friends in San Francisco when I go back to visits I will definitely make sure I visit those places while there
One of my favorite youtuber😍.
One of the best.
The clap sealed the deal 👌 😅😅😅
These meals look so good. I can't wait to visit some of these restaurants. Everything looks so fresh.
The wild pea shoots are everywhere if you like to go hiking and it’s quite common for East Asian to forage for edibles while on a stroll. 😂
That beef and snow peas look so fresh and good! 😋😋😋😁🙂
the beef cubes is that with sweet snap peas because i thought snow peas are the really thin looking one.
Yay!!! Hello Mr. Mike Chen!!! 😍❤😊🍻🍺
those dishes look so nice
Hello Mike, I always feel intrigued by your amazing food videos, the food looks so flavourful. 😊
That was absolutely GORGEOUS, omg I'd totally go there ,the dishes were a masterpiece wow!!!Great video and I'm definitely going to get a few friends and go that looked amazing!!!Thanks mikey🙏👍💜💖🎊🎉😘🥰
@@heartlessoni13 where do u suggest
@@christinechance7663 They don't have suggestions, they just eat cup noodles in front of their computer and act like they know better.
@@SkotDudeAustralia575 Braces guy was one of you. So very embarrassing.

Mike's back!
Love the idea of a hidden restaurant. It would work SO well here in BC!
15:11 that’s an interesting way to fry fish! May try that sometime.
Watch out for the 💩!
That looks like Molinari sandwiches store on Columbus. A supermarket other right of the gate...
I always have to get an order of beef and bitter melon when I go to my family's restaurant Hop Kee in Manhattan!
অনেক মজার মজার খাবার ছিলো
"The next dish is a peking duck Of course, more elegant." (Gets served goofy face plate)
That food looks soooo good
8 is Bot in Cantonese and hes right. It means good fortune. We all can use that!! 😂🤑
Full - " The Menu " Vibes
Wow look so yummy..
What a beautiful view at 8:15! Grew up in SF! I miss it so much! Too bad a job dictated where i had to move. 😢
Yummy!
Keep up the eating 🍽️❤ everything looks great!!!!
wow in all this year's one of my fav restaurant reviews
I loved this Mikey ❤❤
Delicious
Are snow peas on the same as mangetout/sugar snap peas? ( as we call them in the UK 🇬🇧) great video ❤
They’re different
Give me some crab I have to watch carbs - soup looks good
Koi Palace/Dragon Beaux/Palette Tea House ( all the same owner ) might interest you. R & G Lounge, Mr Jiu's, House Of Nanking, Yuet Lee, Mandarin Islamic are noteworthy. Jade Chocolate ( Fine Chocolate blended with Asian and Pacific Island spices ) also does a very interesting afternoon tea with a rotating menu. Sotto Mare, Colibri, L'ardoise, Poc Chuc, Fina Estampa, Brenda's French Soulfood and Tu Lan are also distinctive places, part of the kaleidoscope of San Francisco you might want to consider.
Summer in Cali but look what you're wearing 😮😂 great episode 👏 👌
It gets real cold in San Francisco even in summer. I’ve seen it rain during summer there. Definitely not southern ca weather
@@nmelgar74 close to the Ocean nice breeze 👌 😌 ✨️ ☺️
Summer in San Francisco. Almost all of the rest of the state is hot right now but here in SF in ' summer ' I run the heater daily, even daytime and I like it cold. SF is an anomaly in multiple ways.
You need to try TOP POT in Pacifica just outside of Daly City about 30 minutes from San Francisco!!!
it would be nice if when an item is priced as "market" you could tell us the price you paid per pound at the time of filming..so we can get an idea what to expect as a price point for that dish. 😊
Market price means if it's necessary to ask you cannot afford it.
@@rsnc23 😂 exactly
@pmg-1 I live in the Bay Area and a live crab like that in an fancy Asian restaurant will set you back in the 65-80 dollar range
How is the first place one Michelin star??? We can't tell the taste but the presentation and execution looks pretty normal
Is just food, even you can make it the same way or better!..The ingredients are the same everywhere in the world, maybe a bit more expensive in other places but in San Francisco I know the cost is higher just because of rent prices.
Harborview in SF is very, very, very high quality. I eat a lot of different kinds of Chinese food in San Francisco and the place is expensive but the quality makes it worth the splurge. Also, Harborview is a nice ratio of almost completely traditional, conservative menu but with slight nouvelle touches.
I don’t think anyone said they are Michelin star…they are listed in the Michelin Guide.
HEY MIKEY your link to the drone isnt available ... Which drone are you using for your videos ?!
Yummy 😊
Interesting restaurant
Gaslighted into thinking that you are so “special” in this “secret” restaurant so they can charge you 2 times more for everything xD
I do love Beef Brisket though!!! 🤤
Hidden restaurants seens fun. I had dinner in some private roons before. But never in a please that seens this private.
Not snow peas…sugar snaps!
The best vegetables is cheap and abundant. I love a good stir fried fatty water spinach in Malaysia Sambal Chilli Sauce, stir fried in raw garlic slices, Half big onion slices, prawns and well seasoning in (best premium oyster sauce, little sugar, red chilli slices and light soy sauce)
Welcome to my city ! Try Anh hong for their 7 courses of beef
Love and support from colombia Mike!❤❤❤❤❤
Hola desde Pereira, Risaralda...🌴👍
Nice lunch with the overpriced dishes! I saw that the crab was Market Price, of course! With that great local & chef I'm not surprised that the soup was $25! Now, the "secret" restaurant with 8 tables was a very special event! So, how much did it cost? I wasn't a fan of most of the dishes but I saw a very unique experience & very private setting!
I think the menu card said 125 or 150
Bet Mikey drove up to a Vegas buffet after that dinner 🎉😂
Mike, if you're ever in Pittsburgh, hit up Chengdu Gourmet. There's two locations, owned by James Beard award-winning chef Wei Zhu. They have a vast traditional menu that covers just about anything edible, including frog.
Niiiiiiiice 😋😋😋😋😋
Sound waves doesn't travel in space😅😊.
Love your work mike! You are the best!😊😊😊❤❤❤❤
Hey Mike. Happy Monday, too of the week. Another great video.. So beautiful & yummy 🤤😋 Have a great day, Enjoy!! ❤️🐞
Looking good 😋
Did spend 80 € to have everything for the chilli oil™
Will try it for the first time in a couple days
Cannot wait :) im only a couple years late :D
beef and turnip said no one 😂😂😂😂
Congratulations
Wish San Francisco could go back to what it was.
I live in HMB. Where are the pea shoots?? All I see are pumpkins, brussel sprouts, artichokes and fog?
Not sure about those fish scales, I don't know why but they give me the ik
what i don't like mike's reviews is that he doesn't say anything negative about the places he visit
i find it stale after awhile it's always good good the best this and that
compared to a few hong kong food channel i follow they do say it when it's bad and why it's bad
even World's Best Seafood channel (small sec channel of a photographer) have a honest review for noma's kyoto pop up restaurant (it was not mild lol)
which i don't think mike would have a honest review on a restaurant at that lvl
if he only give good review on any restaurant then all his reviews are questionable...
Mike used to do that. I think both places in this vid were sponsored.
He also said if he doesn't like a place, he just doesn't include them in the video. This is called survivorship bias. He's got no problem negatively reviewing a big chain restaurant, but he's not about to damage someone's reputation due to his own opinion.
Maybe keep that in mind when you see some youtuber denigrating someone's food. It's their own personal opinion, and they could have just simply not included it in the video. Makes it seem like they're clout goblins, desperate for as much content as they can get. No content creator is truly a "professional food critic".
Bc Mikey is a human garbage disposal.
In his earlier videos, he did have some negative reviews for some places and he was skewered in the comment section. There was a video on restaurants in NYC Chinatown and commenters actually said if he had nothing nice to say, he shouldn't say it. I am not typically a defender of Mike. He still needs to broaden his vocabulary and work on his enunciation and pronunciation.
@@SnowyCountryChickentalking bad abt China or anything related to it in even the smallest way gets you so many comments. It's crazy
I did not know that Chinese cuisine had a meal like the Japanese Omakase. Thanks for showing this. I wish I were there.
Well Chinese cuisine have influenced all the Asian world cuisine
Private 'See Fang' Dishes
How unique..
Bro I was just there last week
Can we make taste testing possible through the camera now ? Haven't we figured it out yet ? 😂 Looks like a life of amazing tastes 😋 YUMMMMMMMMMMMMM
150 dollars for the private dining is really not too bad
Need a pizza video soon
$6 a piece for those tiny duck buns..should have double the meat for that price....holy cow expensive 🤯
They are truffle duck buns to a high standard so that's a fair price.
@@rsnc23 truffle oil is fairly inexpensive though
@@pmg-1 The garbage is. And you are correct, someone going though alllllllll the hassle and relentless work of running a top drawer establishment is not entitled to any profit. I feel sorry for you that the price of well curated, well prepared, well sourced food in a premium city in a premium establishment is beyond your means. What would you do with the $2 if it was $4? Buy your Top Ramen for the week? Suks to be you. Try venturing out of your parent's basement in your Rust-Belt town more than once a year.
oh my god, so delicious 😍😍😍😍😍
Mike has been wearing that same red shirt for decades. We know where he spent his money on. 🤣
Mmmm whatta feast😮
Way to go mike thumb up .
Idk how biting the utensils so hard doesn’t bug you
Glad, for your Blessings. 😋🍽!!

Can you please come back to Atlanta
