- Having been invited down to the awful driving capital of the world by the good folks at Spotify, I acquiesced to visit The Podcast Show on one condition...that the co-host of @BreakingBeardPod Josh Gudgeon bought lunch! Q: How come you don’t get fat?
A: I eat like this for 1 hour of a 168 hour long week. In simple terms, I eat at caloric maintenance over the course of time, meaning I don’t gain weight. If you're interested in learning more, see the ‘But How Come You're Not Fat' and 'It Was Just A Normal Day...' videos available on my channel.
Q: Don’t you worry about your health?
A: Not in particular. I’m active. I eat nutrient dense foods five days a week. And, I get quarterly bloods done, amongst other health checks.

Does anyone else watch this channel wile you're hungry. Then your wife gets home, and you're like "Let's eat out tonight." And then you order a bunch of food and you're like "I'm going to eat all this!" But you eat like 1/4th of what you ordered and you have to get a box to go. And there are the leftovers of failure in your fridge, reminding you that you'll never be like Beard.

If you are having trouble sleeping due to heartburn always turn to the left as that brings your stomach lower than the valve that allows the stomach acid to go up.

Seriously, I'm in the US and have gone to NYC just for a piza. I have lived in an area of Boston with damned good pizza all over, and that London bowling alley pizza looked like a proper pie

Slamming the slices together is cheating?! That's logistical efficiency if ever I saw it! Also good tactic with scrunching the crusts into smaller bites, though I would have personally not saved them all to last, finish the whole slice so you don't have to do that without extra sauce like you did here, damn good show!

I would imagine these guys know exactly how they need to do it to get it all in. I'm sure he looks at each plate and establishes an order to how he's going to eat it before he begins.

I can do this, I can eat a whole family size pizza from Costco if I’ve had a couple beer and a joint, apparently. Woke up and my pizza was completely gone

He doubled the pizza and then folded the two slices together to make 4 layers per bite! You are thinking folding OR doubling, but he did both at the same time.

I've done a 22" pizza before. but i suppose that is only 3/4 the size of this and it took me probably 30- 40 minutes to see off.
Whenever i want to eat, i just watch you eat 10 pounds of food in 20 minutes, and I’m no longer hungry. You’re really helping my diet!

That was such an excellent strategy, to fold and eat two at a time. It visibly reduced the pizza tremendously and quickly for the psychological advantage.
Doing this as a normal person on the other hand just makes you feel like you're about to die from the amount of pizza you're consuming so fast

I’m tempted to create my own food challenge, market it as much as I can and make it famous. Solely for the reason of attracting Beard and Randy and all the other great eaters of our time.

Me and two friends had an 32in chilli pizza (we added extra chill despite not eating chilli regularly) took an full day to finish cant imagine eating this within a set time respect from Australia.

The Dickens Inn in St Katherine's dock used to serve much bigger pizzas. This one is the size of their first 'oversized' pizza dubbed 'the Dustbin Lid' because that is how big it was. After that all the others were rectangular and sold by the foot.

I was out on my travels as an hgv driver when I stumbled on a place called "Top Nosh Cafe" in Tonbridge, Kent. They've got a breakfast challenge which is undefeated. I would've tried it but they wouldn't let me substitute the black pudding for something else. Would love to see you smash it.
