im so glad you made this video. i thought i was going nuts when i saw the new prices!! before the AC6 at the game awards, all the old games were like 20-40 dollars! i just took a look on ebay for giggles just to see and was like WTF?!? so glad i have all of them already
I noticed this as well, saw the price for AC4A at $130 in one case. So i decided to have a more cost effective decision. Buy an old console just to jailbrake it and get all the games for less, than just one Armored Core game.
I have a jailbroken PS3 that could probably run all of those old games fine and there's even patched versions that fix the controls to actually use the analog sticks like the later games do too. It mainly was an issue with the PS2 era games of which there were many and that's a huge complaint so someone took it upon themselves to fix the problem.
I figure prices will drop once 6 is out and demand lowers. If not well good bye to me ever buying them. I have Nine Breaker on PS2 along with 4 physically and Verdict Day digital both on PS3 that I bought years ago. I wanted Last Raven and Nexus though more so Last Raven but yeah not at $150 or whatever. I'd buy something else more rare over that at that price point.
Great video, only missing Shadow Tower and Kuon, then I will have every US FromSoftware game to date. I remember the Phantasma one being a PITA to find, I got it for $28 and thought I paid too much lol.
