    You know I’ve been following you for awhile and always wondered what exactly you do the support your sport. Your story from early on is amazing! Can’t believe that your a cancer survivor, with a metal knee, doing the tricks you do. That’s impressive. Appreciate you sharing all of this, including the financial aspect of things. Haters will say your flaunting but I genuinely always wondered but did it want to bluntly message and ask lol. And what’s impressive is you’ve growing with like 3k more subscribers in less than a year if I’m not mistaken. Keep at it mann 🤙🏼

    I’ve just started adding content to my own RUclips channel. I enjoyed the commentary on your journey, your willingness to provide details about how you afford to do what you do and growing the RUclips channel. Thanks!

      Thank you, and keep it going. Imagine how big my RUclips channel could be if I started even 10 years ago instead of 3. I try to be as transparent as possible and I think it helps people relate to my content.

    Good video. I bought my first boat, 2013 Malibu 23 LSV this week. You mentioned you had a 2014. Any links to your best videos for new owner, or specifically 23 LSV? It’s a lot to learn how to run, clean, drain, maintain. I’m sure I’ll learn the hard way in a lot of cases :)

      Thank you! I started making weekly videos long after I sold my 2014, but I think most of my videos in the Wakeboat Ownership series on my channel will have helpful tips for you. Congrats and enjoy!

    Technology services are where its at! Definitely can unlock a lifestyle! Edit: and as I rounded out the video.. boy are there similarities for me in my career history! And the other day just picked up a new 2022 Tige 23ZX. The grind can be real, but so can the opportunities!

    I love the new logo. When you asked for viewers help, I sketched out a reflection logo similar and super imposed the rest of the words wake and man into the reflections. I’m no artist and it didn’t really capture what was in my mind so I never messaged it to you.

    Envious of the miles of smooth water and noticeable lack of other boats. We had to join a club with a private site to get that kind of water.

    • @wake_mann
      @wake_mann  Год назад

      Yes, it's pretty awesome a lot if the time but I mostly ride in the morning and it is shallow compared to other lakes. I'm usually in 10 to 15 ft of water.

    • @richardredhead
      @richardredhead Год назад +1

      @@wake_mann You mention depth. Do you consider 10 feet to be the minimum safe depth for wakeboats or riding? Skied at a site for years that was a uniform 5' deep, which was plenty for skiing.
      I can see a day when there will be dedicated wakeboard/wakesurf lakes (similar to tournament slalom sites), but I'm sure they would need to be at least 8-10' deep.

    • @wake_mann
      @wake_mann  Год назад

      @richardredhead certainly not minimum for safety, I would say 4 foot might be minimum as long as you know the lake bed well. But for surfing and wakeboarding, 10 ft or deeper is ideal for max potential.

    Hey i know isnt a tech tip video, but last weekend I winterized the Tige’, and one of the upgrades ( if you call it that) was I swapped the brass drain plugs on the block for brass fumoto valves on both sides. It makes this process real simple, plus the valves have a spot to put a 3/8” hoses on for control of the water( so i can keep the bilge dry).
    Next up( spring) will be a strainer with hose bib. That should make flushing her a snap. Plus if I suck up crap again in shallow water… it will only take a few mins to clear it vs calling it a day and back flushing everything.

    Great information Brother. Thanks for sharing! I would encourage you to invest in DRIPS. You can start by focusing on "the dogs of the Dow". I am surprised that you aren't investing using this method already. You definitely have all the qualities to excel with it. One reason I have not gotten into crypto is that I don't know an exchange or clearinghouse that is legitimate. Can you recommend a few?

    • @wake_mann
      @wake_mann  2 года назад

      Thank you! I will do some research on DRIPS but I've been super happy with Crypto so far. I can always use good ideas for when I decide to take some profits though. I trust Coinbase, Coinbase Pro, and Binance.US the most. There is a link in the description you can use to get free Bitcoin from Coinbase and Celsius. Celsius is a great place to earn interest on your crypto.

      I have a family friend who lives in SanJose who buys high end town homes/ duplex/muti plex here… I would have linked you 2 up. Glad you sold it when you did, the market cooled off here.
      If we think surf boats are expensive try pricing a Midnight Express. Just 1 verado v12 runs $72k. I believe they run quints, so x5… and that is just for the power plants!

    These boats shouldn't be allowed on lakes they are destroying shore lines and fish habits

      I remember wakeboarding back in the 90’s our fat sac loaded Ski Nautique pissing off a lot of other boaters, I cannot fathom the new hatred these days with these new boats and their $200k wakes.
