    I literally last night listened to a 1983 version of Computer Blue and I heard Fuzz on it. I kind of questioned what I was hearing, because this was from 83. It might have just been a weird recording. But no, I watched your let's Go Crazy video and It was confirmed. And I'd love to hear a breakdown of Computer Blue. Its one of my favorites on that album. Might even be my favorite track because of all the guitar. Thanks for all the work you have done.

This is one of my all-time favorite songs, and my favorite version of it. I never in 1 million years thought anyone would attempt teaching it, so I am in heaven right now!!!! It may take me a lifetime, but I will learn this!!!! Keep rocking, brother! 🎸🔥☔️🕊️

    This is a great video as always. Everyone I see always has videos on how to play the songs, but nobody shows the setup of the guitar. What effects are you using? What is the setup on the strat in this video to get it to sound that way?

    • @dannyeddyguitar
      @dannyeddyguitar  Год назад

      Thanks Frank! I create all my sounds in Logic. The main thing I can tell you is that I use equalisation to match tones. I personally find it very difficult to pick one distortion from the next. But I can hear different frequencies popping through.

    Do you think buying anytype of like $100-$150 amp would sound good to play with this I’m trying to learn this sound and want to know what kind of amp and settings I should buy to get a good sound

    • @dannyeddyguitar
      @dannyeddyguitar  3 месяца назад

      Some of those little Spark amps - or similar - would be great. Anything that has on board digital fx.

      @@dannyeddyguitarwould there be a certain setting I have to switch everything too?

    • @dannyeddyguitar
      @dannyeddyguitar  3 месяца назад

      @@Bloss2187 it's not quite that simple. All I'm saying is that for $100-$150 you can get a little practice amp with a good sound. Or perhaps you could look into those headphone setups that are driven by an app. They seem pretty cool, with loads of different sounds/options.

    You
    Should share what effects you used!

    • @dannyeddyguitar
      @dannyeddyguitar  2 года назад +1

      Thank you! Very little effects used on this one. I just picked a gainy head (High Octane Head) in Logic, coupled with a tiny cab (Pawnshop 1x8) mic'd almost dead centre with an SM57. Then it's just the Dunlop style Wah pedal. Those low gain pick ups in my Strat help a lot too.

  • @لالهوةإلالهوتي
    @لالهوةإلالهوتي 2 года назад

    Treasure! At 0:15 and throughout I don't know what you call it but the fast runs make the strings growl like a fast Louis Armstrong throaty effect. It's ever so subtle. Santana does the same I wonder is it the tube screamer (side) effect?

    • @dannyeddyguitar
      @dannyeddyguitar  2 года назад +1

      Thank you!! I think what you're referring too maybe a combination of the overdrive and the wah pedal. There are certain positions where the wah introduces a lovely, throaty growl!

    How did you get that tone? It’s spot on. Which effects are you using ?

    • @dannyeddyguitar
      @dannyeddyguitar  2 года назад

      I mocked it up in Logic. I used one of their high gain amp models (Tiny Monster), just used the amp's gain - no distortion or drive pedals. Then added the onboard Wah.

    Prince is arguably top 5 greatest guitar players EVER! The man could shred a guitar! ....I have him and jimi Hendrix as the top "2" Yeah....TOP 2! Hell, even Eric Clapton acknowledges his greatness....Rolling Stone 🤡 writers who left him off the 100 greatest guitar players of ALL time should be ASHAMED of themselves!
