  • This is a video that I made of my recent dive trip with the Aggressor Fleet in the waters around the Galapagos' Islands including traveling about a hundred miles to the northern islands of Wolf and Darwin to see schools of hammerhead sharks. It was a great trip though I think I will be sticking with diving in warmer waters for a while. Enjoy!

What’s the water temperature in April? How many mm of wetsuits u were wearing?

The water temperature for most of the dives was around 72 degrees Fahrenheit. For the location where we saw the sunfish the temperature was 62 degrees. I wore a 7 mm wetsuit. That was the first time that I wore such a thick wet suit. The other six divers with me were all more experienced with cold water diving.
The 7 mm kept me warm enough especially my body’s core. For the two dives that I made in the 62 degree water I was warm enough though I remember that my arms felt colder though nothing too bad.
