- Dive Safari in May 2022. We saw 37 Walesharks in two days, Galapagos and Silky Sharks, Hammerheads, Dolfins, Marine Iguanas, Red-lipped bathfis, Galapagos Bullhead Shark and playing Sea Lions...

This is amazing! We went in August and felt blessed with a few days of whale sharks up Darwin but nothing like your encounters... And those schooling hammers, great footage.. what a joy!!

👍🏼 I used mostly a GoPro 10 with two WeFine 6000 lamps, sometimes a Sony RX100 VII. Have fun and good luck with the walesharks… we saw 37 in just 2 days 😊

Did you use any dome housing or just the regular dive housing for the gopro? What tray/handles for the WeeFine lights?
Would you say may is the best month to go? Looking at June next year...

I use the normal dive housing from GoPro. It’s mounted on top of my Nauticam housing, where my lights are mounted.
I was only there in may, but i guess June should be good too! Have fun!

The sharks are Galapagos Sharks. We were there in May.
We are there in October, wet suit or dry, any advice? Thanks
I was happy with a 5mm Wetsuit in May. For October I recommend at least a 7mm Wetsuit and a hood. Have fun! 🤗
