Tigersharks of Fuvahmulah, Maldives, May 2024

There are about 280 Tigersharks known to return regularly to Fuvahmulah. We saw some of them... During a saftey stop, a fisherman poored his waste over board. This attracted 10 or more Tigers to our group - interesting, but not too funny.

Scilly Islands 2022

Visiting the Isles of Scilly, just off the coast of Cornwall. Each island has its own unique charms - we visited St. Mary's, St. Martin's and Bryher. Nature is unspoilt and there are endless tracks and routes to follow along the coast. Snorkelling with seals was my highlight!
Galapagos Master 2022

Dive Safari in May 2022. We saw 37 Walesharks in two days, Galapagos and Silky Sharks, Hammerheads, Dolfins, Marine Iguanas, Red-lipped bathfis, Galapagos Bullhead Shark and playing Sea Lions... What an adventure! Excellent diving... many thanks to the crew of the Galapagos Master.

Das Schnorcheln ist dort sehr schön, kein Problem 👍🏼 Bei starkem Wind und hohen Wellen wird allerdings die rote Flagge gehisst…

Thank you so much, glad you like it. Enjoy your stay at Siladen. You can snorkel anywhere: In front of the resort, at Bunaken National Park (Turtles!) or just join a dive boat. Have fun 🤩
Some amazing footage, especially the turtle scratch and the Oran Utang crab picking food particles from its "fur." David Attenborough would be proud!

Beautiful video with many upclose shots. I just love frog fish and nudibranch. I hope you realise how lucky you are to able to swim with the fishes in alien like environments when so many others can only dream of it.

Wow, your video shots are amazing. As a fellow diver and fellow under water photographer and videographer I would like to ask you this: what do you do to stabilize your video shots so well. I get pretty good results with standard zoom and wide angle shots and the warp stabilization in Premiere, but I just can't get my macro stuff stable enough to not throw it away. Though It improved a lot since I tried to make my whole rig neutrally buoyant, it's still not good enough.
Thank you, I’m glad you like my video 😊 I try to stabilize my shots with my elbows and by holding my breath. I also like my rig a bit heavier than buoyant. Last but not least the stabilizer in Final Cut works really well! The combination makes the difference… 🤷🏻♂️

WOW ! How far is it from the Island ? Is the close snorkeling also good, or is it only accessible by boat ?
Diving is 15 - 60 minutes by boat. But you can snorkel just in front of your water-bungalow. The reef has suffered from coral bleaching but is recovering. There still is plenty of fish 🐠

We organized the transfer directly with the hotel: €50 per car per way (which airport doesn’t matter) 😊

This is amazing! We went in August and felt blessed with a few days of whale sharks up Darwin but nothing like your encounters... And those schooling hammers, great footage.. what a joy!!

Amazing footage. The sequence with the whale shark surrounded by sharks is out of this world... Did you use any dome housing or just the regular dive housing for the gopro? What tray/handles for the WeeFine lights? Would you say may is the best month to go? Looking at June next year...
Thank you so much. The meeting with the Waleshark and the Sharks was crazy 😊 I use the normal dive housing from GoPro. It’s mounted on top of my Nauticam housing, where my lights are mounted. I was only there in may, but i guess June should be good too! Have fun!

Thank you very much 🙏🏻 The voiceover was a special only for the Bali-Movie. A friend recorded the comments I wrote. I‘m shooting with as Sony RX100 VII and the newest GoPro. Editing with FinalCut. Have a nice Sunday 👍🏼
