Skial servers usually have respawn times disabled. (Atleast the ones i played) It could be that they run into the same players whenever they join and build a toxic relationship. Especially if you are easially triggered by random crits + taunt combos. (Like myself sometimes) When people get mad/insecure they dont think straight and usually perform worse than they normally would, all while building up a bad rep making the situation even worse. Thats one of the few advantages with matchmaking. (But considering the bot situation i wouln't blame anyone for only playing community servers.)

I've always loved that you cannot be toxic in TF2 without just spewing racial slurs into voice-chat. Spawncamping? It just means you're losing if you can't deal with the single demo sticky trapping your entire team. Taunting? Intended game mechanic. They are literally called taunts. Killing the same guy over and over? You get Dominations for that. What about the voice-lines associated with it? Does Spy saying he fucked your mother count as harassment? Are you gonna report him for that? The automatic voice-line that plays specifically when you kill a single player multiple times? It's hilarious when people get upset over shit like a taunt. Just goes to show TF2 was way ahead of it's time, implementing trash-talk into the game without feeling mean-spirited and having that still work 10 years later.

I used to frequent a Skial server with some dude that would go the "unkillable soldier" loadout with Black Box, Conch, and he'd camp out in sewers near the health. Every time he got a dom he'd say "easy dom" but the moment you dom him he rejoins the server to clear it. I'm convinced he had a key bound to leave and rejoin easily because it was instant. Another gem is some dude who I'm sure is just a troll since his binds were incomprehensible versions of "your mom" (like it would say EEEEEEZZZZZZZ MOM or something) and he'd taunt after every kill. What makes him a gem is he never left spawn. He'd go cow mangler and spam charge shots from balcony and if there's someone who can snipe him he goes quickie demo and launches stickies to the other side through the small window near the second spawn so that he wouldn't ever risk going into a sightline. Final little gem was on a hightower server with a guy that would also never leave spawn and spam cow mangler charge shots to the tower or spam scorch shot. But I doubt he was a troll because unlike the other guy, he legitimately got mad when someone told him to play the game and when I killed him enough times for a dom he went demo, set up the dumbest sticky trap on the stairs near cliff right outside the window exit, and just WAITED for me to run into it. I watched him for a good 5 minutes just stare at it from the window into spawn and he only moved to get ride of the afk bot thing.

It’s always one or two people on skial servers that are just the literal worst There’s one guy I see a lot on skial CTF Turbine, and I honestly have started feeling bad for him. He says the usual homophobic slurs, and makes racist comments. But since I play that specific server so much, I’ve noticed something. Sometimes he comes in early in the day and sounds PISSED, but then later he comes back and he’s honestly a lot more tolerable. He makes comments, but he doesn’t sound as mad. He’s never said anything to me, as I usually just remain silent. Some people I know say these things just to get a reaction or because they think it’s funny or makes them cool. This guy does not give off those vibes, and it makes me sad for him because he honestly can be really nice sometimes.
He might have anger issues, gets stressed alot, or just has a lot of problems in life i feel bad for him nonetheless. You never know what a person is going through behind the screen.
I remembered Skial servers used to be full of friendlys and people doing goofy stuff, now is full of people tryharding in CTF and calling each other things like "Basement Dweller" and "Bugs Bunny"
Using every tool available to you in a conflict is the key to victory. There's nothing more telling of an experienced warrior than seeing them use every and all advantage to get in and out of a fight. Surviving is what you need to do. Remember that. That's why I throw my shit at people in bar fights
It's weird because more often than not, my experience on skial is okay. Occasionally you get a massive tryhard - but then the rest of the server just makes fun of them and the game goes on. Occasionally you get some problematic racists/bigots, but I've never seen them not get called out on it.

Once met a furry who was somewhat spoiled and wanted everyone in the server to do what he says and vote for the maps he likes (this was a Skial Zombie escape server) i retaliated because the maps he liked were utmost of crap and he wanted me to get banned, his reason was racism, i have never even said a racial slur in my entire life let alone be a dickbag to people with color, needless to say the entire server was on my side because i had a reputation for being a kind and funny guy and eventually he was the one that got banned, as far as i remember He comes to the server every now and then but we're not mean to each other, we just sorta forgot about it and set everything bad aside.
Played in these Skial servers for too long to deny these ppl are a thing. True fact, I suck at being sniper, yet when I got 3 headshot in a roll, they called me hacked even tho my K/D was like 10/13. Then an actual admin got in, I headshot the admin too (dumb guy just stand still in the open..) then I got banned. Laugh my ass off

Here's a thing I've noticed throughout all of these online arguments and squabbles, it's that the guy who resorts to swearing first is usually the one that's losing. As you can see here, when this total loser can't think of a comeback, he sugarcoats his mediocre comeback with a swear word, doing it multiple times.
Tf2 is so weird. In no other game have I found a fanbase so oddly diverse with its players. Outside of the game, tf2 fans are nice. In the actual game it’s always split on people either being edgy tryhards or just chill

Skial can either be full of the friendliest people you’ll ever meet, or some of the most sweaty toxic people to exist. There’s no in between

I remembered Skial servers used to be full of friendlys and people doing goofy stuff, now is full of people tryharding in CTF and calling each other things like "Basement Dweller" and "Bugs Bunny"
Using every tool available to you in a conflict is the key to victory. There's nothing more telling of an experienced warrior than seeing them use every and all advantage to get in and out of a fight. Surviving is what you need to do. Remember that.

It's weird because more often than not, my experience on skial is okay. Occasionally you get a massive tryhard - but then the rest of the server just makes fun of them and the game goes on.
Occasionally you get some problematic racists/bigots, but I've never seen them not get called out on it.
I would end up typing "watching/listening to this conversation is more entertaining than the actual game" or something like that.

Once met a furry who was somewhat spoiled and wanted everyone in the server to do what he says and vote for the maps he likes (this was a Skial Zombie escape server) i retaliated because the maps he liked were utmost of crap and he wanted me to get banned, his reason was racism, i have never even said a racial slur in my entire life let alone be a dickbag to people with color, needless to say the entire server was on my side because i had a reputation for being a kind and funny guy and eventually he was the one that got banned, as far as i remember

I recommend the payload server if you enjoy payload it’s 16v16 but not toxic like 2fort or Hightower
I play skial servers regularly and i always get everyone to go friendly by using the Need a Dispensah Here Scout

Here's a thing I've noticed throughout all of these online arguments and squabbles, it's that the guy who resorts to swearing first is usually the one that's losing.

Tf2 is so weird. In no other game have I found a fanbase so oddly diverse with its players. Outside of the game, tf2 fans are nice. In the actual game it’s always split on people either being edgy tryhards or just chill

The best way to play on skial is join an na servers regardless of where you live, pick one sniper and follow them staring at them the entire time.

Skial are the people who seem to always have an issue with anyone beating them, and have to cheat, buy some power ups, and only by doing something that only Skial lets them do by paying real money to do will they be happy, and they think they have real skill in it to....
