Looks delicious. So excited to try this
Looks so so so good!! I love caramel apples!
Love making my own caramel apples! Haven’t done it in a while but I do love them!
I love your saucepan! It totally gives off cauldron vibes!
Ha I thought the same! I had to go get my own mini cauldron for this as well 🧙🏼
So yummy!
Your making me hungry Liz. 😍🤤
Ooo I'm early much Love from Trinidad 🇹🇹I love your videos
Loved the end result. Thanks for the tips. I now feel brave enough to attempt. Would love to see a petite four tutorial 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻.
Yay hope you like them! Yum I love those too
Thank you so much!! 😀🖤
You’re more helpful than the tutorials
I have taken 🤦🏽♀️😞
The apples look nice
I love Carmel apples, they are one of my favorite fall foods. Will definitely try this recipe. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼❤️
Hope you like it!
Yummy
I’ve learned so much from just this ONE tutorial, I think your brilliant, so glad I found you, I’m now going to have too much sugar (not) in video form of course! Love Jan xx
Thanks so much! I’m so glad you liked it 😊
Ooooo! And smoked salt with these is amazing😉
Sounds delicious!
I like mines covered in toffee or crushed up snicker bars. The best on the granny Smith apples 🍏
After you dip the apple into the carame, hold the apple upside down for 15 to 20 seconds and you wont have the big blob at the bottom of them. The 1st great tip is to have the ceramel at 210ish when you 1st start dipping!
Ooh great tip!
I have never alten caramel apples and I'm attempting it for Halloween, along with my BFF
Hope you like them!! For the full recipe and some more tips and tricks definitely check out my blog post sugargeekshow.com/recipe/homemade-caramel-apple-recipe/
This is an excellent video! I would like some kind of cinnamon cluster 🎃lol nut or plain I have to see different options!
I'm new to making Carmel apples once your done putting everything on the apples do you put them in the refrigerator or leave them out when should I bag them love ❤ your channel
I’m going to be trying both candied and caramel apple recipes that you showed. They look delicious! I have made candied apples once before and I loved some of your tips because mine were great except they started getting large bubbles and there was some crystallized sugar in the mixture, so I hope this time they will be great. I would love to try slices but I am scared they will not stick to the apple slices
Nice that you thank GOD for your Apple 😁
I like caramel apples with pecans and chocolate drizzle or peanut butter cups! 😊
Yummm love peanut butter cups
I love how you made a cute little mistake when the nuts didn’t stick that added character to your video super cute liked your video a lot
Hey I was trying to find a caramel cake filling recipe in your videos, do you happen to have a caramel filling recipe to put between chocolate cake layers? Thank you 🥰
I bought some at the store that where Turtle Chocolate soooooooooo good
I ate them today and yesterday 🤣
This recipe is really sweet. If you like that buttery caramel home-made flavor this is not it. TOO SWEET!
I’ve been eating candy apples bought from the grocery store and now I want to make my own lol
Do it!! It’s so satisfying
When did you add the vanilla? After heating stir it in just before dipping?
Also so excited to try this recipe!!
Yes! Right at 7:07
Hi I am a big fan ☺
Hello REkha! how are you!?
@SugarGeekShow Hey Liz, What size saucepan do you use in this video? 2:46
I will have to make these, what quart size of pot did you use? I don't want to have to buy any bigger than I have to.
Do you know what different it would be if you used light brown sugar or dark brown sugar?
Caramel, dark chocolate, pecans, maybe coconut. 😋 they look yummy.
Yummy!!
Yea
Remembering having another drip hot caramel on my hand then she pulled it off-skin and al. Lol. Caution: don’t work with those that do not know. Lol
Well done vid. Informative, detailed. Just great!
Oh, no I only think of making but never do. Lol
I would like to make the caramel part ahead of time but heat it up for my grand kids to make their own. How long does the caramel keep after cooking and can it be stored in the fridge? If so how should it be heated up?
Awww I want to make these so bad 👁👅👁
Do ittt 😄
Do you cook on medium high the whole time ?
Can you add black gel color to the caramel for black caramel apples for Halloween? If so, do you add when you add yhe vanilla? Cannot wait to try this recipe! Thank you
Not sure but you can make black candy apples.
Oie Boa-noite, como faço pra ver as quantidades
Red velvet cake using reverse creaming method please 🙏
Preppy Kitchen has a recipe like that! It’s a cupcake recipe but it’s basically the same as cake. Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 30-35 minutes!

Hello everyone I wanted to know what size pot do you think she is using in this video. I am not getting a response or her website or the comment board. TYIA!!
Hello. I’m preparing for a Faire booth. QUESTION can I double triple the batch? Can I make sauce 2 weeks prior then re heat to dip apples ? Great info, very cute video super helpful. Thanks VERY MUCH!
I plan to use this recipe for a fair also! Can I ask how it went??
@@kristenschoenly5243 Hi, I ended up buying a pre made Caramel... was a little unsure of the stability of a home made recipe.... The brand I bought was AMAZING... but will always make my own for general confections and smaller projects,, nothing like a fresh home made formula right? Keep up the great work.. very nice production quality and awesome info.
@@lynnhawks519 thanks for the reply!!
Can’t decide whether to make the candy apples or the caramel apples! Any recommendations? Haha
Both!! The candy are prettier in my opinion, but you can’t go wrong with delicious caramel too
Those look like the best caramel apples ever😍
They are so shiny and tasty!
@@SugarGeekShow I will definitely try to make them😍 maybe with a South African twist👀
@@Whimsical_Wanda ooh sounds yummy, what will that twist be?
Are u able to reuse that caramel once it is hard? Also can you do some like dipped double layered like with caramel then chocolate haha thank you!!
Yes definitely! Just rewarm it when you need it
@@SugarGeekShow thank you!💗
I almost didn't recognize you! You look so beautiful!
Where would I buy some those gloves like yours at !!😉😋
Look for pink nitrile gloves on amazon
How many apples does one batch make?
What happens if u add salted butter
Where are the measurements for the ingredients?
I wanted to know what quart size is the pot that you use in this video?
I boil mine for about 10 seconds, then scrub them with veggie wash from Trader Joe’s. It works🤷🏾♀️
Good idea!
What if you don't have a thermometer 😅 I should have used white sugar I guess so I could see the color change but prefer it with brown and was hoping my point and shoot thermometer for my baby would work but that puppy maxes out at 190f... guess I'll let it go about 30 mins and hope for the best🙈
Interesting method of making caramel, all ingredients in at once. Why butter?
How different is this from dulce de leche?
This is caramel apples not dulce de leche
@@1a01n I know but I’m asking if it’s a different processes.
I’m trying to find the ingredients and quantity for the coconut cake and I can’t find it anywhere. Sorry to be posting on this site but I didn’t know where else to go to communicate with you. I don’t know how you could make a cake and do a video without a complete content......
Go to her website and in the upper left corner, hover your mouse over 'recipes', then click on cake. Her coconut cake recipe is on the 4th page.
sugargeekshow.com/recipe/coconut-cake-recipe/ yes right here!
Alguém traduz para o português 😫
Hold all my calls!!!!!😎I’m busy!
Yay!!!
It would be even nicer if u put the amount in cups 😁
Hi
Plsplsplsplsplsplspls pin me
@@haniyabaig3062 hello! welcome!
I'm old school so I prefer a decent layer of caramel then rolled in chopped peanuts. Yum!! :D
Love that!!
I made this recipe and I let it cool. Took a bite and my carmel came off my apple, what did I do wrong... thanks
I'm guessing you needed to wash your apples firmly in hot water to remove the wax coating. Other videos suggest dipping apples for 10 secs in almost boiling water and dry briskly. Let cool.
every other recipe I saw says 'do not substitute the corn syrup'
it's the same recipe for making salted caramel lollipops (with less salt and a lower temperature).
and you look exactly like Nicole scherzinger
I have the worst struggles when it comes to Carmel apples.
Oh no! What do you usually struggle with?
@@SugarGeekShow the Carmel always falls of. And it cools so fast that I can’t add the peanuts
@@gl564 to fix the caramel falling off, try submerging your apples in boiling water for a minute! sugargeekshow.com/recipe/homemade-caramel-apple-recipe/ for the caramel drying too fast for the peanuts- I had the same issue! 😂 I think you just have to work super quickly
@@SugarGeekShow thank you
@@gl564 Roll the coated apple in a bowl of chopped peanuts. The pressure from rolling will make them stick/embed.
