I was very privileged to attend one of the Before The Dawn concerts she gave at The Apollo Theatre. I was fortunate to get a ticket becuase I belonged to the Kate Bush fan club and was offered preferential pre-sale tickets. All the same, I was still poised by the phone minutes before the sale opened just to ensure that the ticket sale call handler answered on the dot of opening time. Even then I still didn't get an ordinary ticket. All I could get was a Hospitality Included Ticket at £400. I didn't mind that, I think I would have been prepared to pay £4000 to see her, given that it was a one-off. It was lovely to enjoy a great Gourmet meal in the church hall before the show. I stil have the menu and photos of my food. I still use my Kate Bush concert fish key ring even now and drink from the Before The Dawn mug I got at the concert. The show was amazing. Unforgettable and a glorious memory. I feel for those who didn't manage to get a ticket and really do wish that the show had been published for sale on DVD for those unlucky enough not to see it live. Kate Bush is a genius of equal rank to other artists like David Bowie.

I'm a US fan dating back to when she was the musical guest when Eric Idle hosted Saturday Night Live in 78 or 79. Loved her ever since. I even have a large (nearly five foot) promotional poster for "The Kick Inside" that was n the front window of Tower records I still have a VHS cassette of the Hammersmith Odeon show. I'm envious of her UK/Europe fans who got to see this show. Eight years later... maybe the recent rediscovery of her music due to "Stranger Things" will prompt another tour? I'm 62 and if I found out about it in time I'd find a way to go even from where I live in San Francisco.
Merci Kate J'ai enfin acheté ce triple CD Il n'y a pas de mots pour exprimer ce que je ressens Extase ! Heureux sont les gens qui l'ont signé de ta main
She is an introvert , the coast to coast travelling in the USA & Canada , would have been to demanding on her. I remember her saying once in a tv interview that she is a recording artist , and to travel the world , she would not get to compose , write and record which she loves. Also she said when writing songs she needs few people around her , as this disturbs her train of thought. Kate just loves her Devon hideaway where she can bring up her son , away from the spotlight. But she could still surprise us again , i mean another tour, but's up to the woman herself. An ex member of her band said expect a flurry of activity from her son , he is 20 now.
As a fellow introvert, her behavior & choices in life & about her career make TOTAL sense. One of the qualities that makes her such an incredible artist IS her introspection, need to recharge, & keep her creative juices flowing....simply can’t do that with too many distractions.
My awesome son surprised me with tickets for the last performance. Was around for the release of wuthering heights, and Kate bush continues to enrich my life.

50, 000 went to scalping agency cunts. or were probably scalped by the ticket handler. in the US, Ticketmaster F's you in the A with a $18 "handling charge", then they sell their own scalped tickets. this is an insidious practice that should be investigated under RICO statutes. It's criminal and immoral for ticketmaster to scalp their own tickets.

Please moderate your excessive idolatry...
@@tedtedster8644 hahaha, maybe we all should moderate. It is just the name Madonna, don't even know HOW, ended up here, and of course, we all got carried away by that out of place comparison!!!
@Big Bill O'Reilly Just stop.
Tory Amos!
@@tedtedster8644 the thruth is the plain hard truth Mister!! Kate Bush is a genius not a copy cat!!!
Worked in a record store in the 70s when Lionheart came out. Been a fan ever since.
My son is 26 and absolutely obsessed with Kate Bush.
your son has TASTE.
He's fascinated by the most amazing woman in music ever 😜
@@juvisage8427 He has the best taste 😉
Can I ask you how he became interested in her
I am guessing that he has heard you playing her music 🎶 growing up..what does he think of her and what's his favourite thing by her
@@jamiegrieve5875 He became interested in her when he was 10 I think after seeing "Wuthering Heights" on the tv. I do have a best of album and think she's a great artist but didn't play it to him. His favourite album of hers is "The Dreaming" which I think is an odd choice but there you are! So I suppose I would say he got into her music entirely on his own accord without any influencing at all.
not just Europe mate - me wife and me came over from Australia - her concert was sublime
75,000 tickets sold in 15 minutes.....not surprised at all, just very envious!
one kate Bush= one million Madonna.
She has a way of accenting feelings, emotions weather HARD and STRONG ,or Softer and Mellower.. Give rushes when i hear her, DANG
WOW No wonder they chose Kate Bush for Stranger Things ♥️ Using *Running Up That Hill* was genial for Max’s emotional moment getting out of the Upside Down 😭👏
I was very privileged to attend one of the Before The Dawn concerts she gave at The Apollo Theatre.
I feel like Kate Bush's voice will go with all of us into our next lives
The fan in the video was correct, there will never be anyone like Kate Bush again 💯👍
What an absolutely beautiful lady. There is nothing you can compare her to totally unique. Such an amazing artist.
I wish she would do another tour i never got to see her live unfortunately 😔
Kate … magical in the late seventies. Magical in 2022.
Absolutely!!!
THE artist of our time. A genius. I tried my best to get tickets and sadly failed. 4 years on,it still gnaws at me.
Peter Green im still sad about it.
Same here :(
She's wonderful, I bought her early albums as a teenager over 40 yrs ago.
The first album I bought was Lionheart. She is my all time favourite artist.
Her beautiful voice is timeless. Such beauty.
not just Europe mate - me wife and me came over from Australia - her concert was sublime

So underrated. Absolutely a genius, godess, and beautiful person. X

Kate bush is so beautiful I Love her songs ♥️♥️
They'll only ever be one Kate Bush, she's one of a kind, I love her ❤ think she's great 👍
One of the most incredible artists of all time ❤️
Thanks to my favourite guitar player David Gilmour for helping to discover her. Kate Bush is amazing.
She didn’t really need to be “discovered” her talent is plainly obvious to everyone
Where do I start? Her music is epic. Her videos of the time were also epic. My mum was the same age and I think she had me rather than abort me due to Kate Bush.
I have also worked in TV but never met Kate. I would love to.
My mum died about 20 years later. I used to read poetry and books and at the same time listen to Kate's music.
I still do.

her success is easy to figure out, she is original and unique, powerful but feminine, even sweet.. not surprised she's popular, you never forget that voice
I always loved Kate Bush videos. Great dancing 💃
I just love her - always have ever since I was 13 and saw Wuthering Heights on Countdown. I hope more people get the message that the way is to follow your own uniqueness as an artist or as a person and not just mimic the manufactured status quo.
Oh my, A genius and a true heroine of the Eighties.. Too long away, anyone who knows her music can testify to that. I’m so happy she is well remembered and that the concert sold out..

Damn! Those Blessed fans. What I would have given for a ticket!

There has never been anyone like Kate bush.
But her voice and Marina and the Diamonds' voice are a bit similar, aren't they?
No and no one will ever be like her
Tori Amos
She Is a one-off ✌️

She is a genius ♥️ Cannot wait for Stranger Things Season IIII VOLUME II ♥️ Kate Bush made Season IIII PHENOMENAL ♥️
I might be wrong but think 4 is written IV in roman numerals
the dreamiest voice that i have ever heard...such dramatic beautiful voice....melts me every time..
am a heavy metal fan
she and her art cannot be put in a prawer.....she´s just unique!
She is a complete one off. Fantastic artist and I hope to see her live one day. Preferably playing with David Gilmour!
These days, Dave only pops his head up to argue with Roger Waters, so that would be even more unlikely!
Kate blows all the talentless wannabes out of the water .. she is, and always will be, pure talent.
Not everyone is born perfect
I love Kate.
Her song is perfect all points.
Merci Kate
J'ai enfin acheté ce triple CD
Il n'y a pas de mots pour exprimer ce que je ressens
Extase !
Beautiful lady with the Talent of Bowie Lennon Marley... Keep it flowing Kate..😘
I am so proud and happy for all people they are staying in this concert. All this people saw the goddess on stage. Kate beat all artist in the music history. Even Prince and Mozart. Love her so much.
Thank you, Kate. For being a very wonderful musical artist. I'd love to hear you live, but cannot in AU.
I still love your work. Love to you. Me, and my too poor to go to events, kids. From wa au love you!
Unique voice unique performance unique personality❤❤❤
Pure class, the woman is legend 💖
I was lucky enough to be there in 2014 (too young for the Tour of LIfe)... dear God, I wish I had the words to describe it. Just pure genius... My knees nearly gave way when she walked on stage.
She was my “heavy people”...she changed everything for me. Love❤️
Hello friend, how are you doing today ??
Nobody will ever replace or be as good as this woman ❤️
Not just a beautiful face and lovely voice tone that gives you emotional feelings, when Interviewed she always comes across like a real princess that's just stepped out of a fantasy book, her personality seems to be so sweet for real.

Meravigliosa Kate !! La cantante migliore del mondo da sempre. Ti ho sempre amata.
Wonderfu Kate...the best singer in the world since ever.I always loved you!!
Kate siempre fue interprete y cantante, su talento en escena era reservado para muy pocos, una verdadera artista y genio adelantada a su epoca #ForeverKateBush
75,000 tix in 15 minutes. Restores faith in humanity
TurboCMinusMinus not ALL got sold/bought by scalpers! They put stuff in place to keep that to a minimum. Unavoidable as that's become. But there was a market for those who couldn't get them in 15 minutes so...
All tickets should have been sold at the window and only to those with proof of income per annum less than 100 000 quid.
Let them eat cake
Nope, didn't happen.
