we bought the same excel water heater and the inspector disapproved it because it only heats the water up 45 degrees ,so she said if the water in tanks is 60 degrees it will only heat it up to 105 and thats not enough to sanitize
Your videos are AMAZING! Do you show installation of the fresh and gray water tanks and how to connect them to the outside of the trailer? Do I need to set up my sinks, etc and work backwards? I haven't been able to find it! After watching your videos, I'm considering installing my plumbing system myself! I wish I would have found your channel sooner!!!!!

My deep fryer looks like there’s getting gas to it when I try lighting the pilot at least lights for a little while, but my water heater click click clicks, and never any hot water?
@@fbaltierrez I’m thinking it might be the propane safety mechanism on the propane tanks? I’ve found out that if you turn on the propane tanks with the valve lines open and the regulator switched to open that the propane tank has a safety switch inside that thinks there’s an open leak, so it restricts the flow greatly? I’m going to try it out.
I like the True Brand or Turbo Air for Prep Fridges. For the griddle I haven't found a favorite yet. I have tried 2 but the only thing I don't like about them is it takes a while to light them because of where the spark thing is

On your 3 compartment sink, did you remove the back legs and just run screws to help hold it up? If so, how well is that working when you have the sink full of water?

So if I install a city/gravity combo hookup outside my trailor will I just Tee of into the inlet of the tank and whichever is hooked up will go in the tank or are there 2 seperate openings in the tank to connect too? Also do u leave the city water connected at all times or is it just to fill so basically if that’s the case I don’t even need the city side....it would just overfill right?
You already are one step ahead of me, thank you for the comment. What kind of trailer? Size? The trailer for me was 4,900 used. So I would say maybe 10k a bit more if you do the work roughly

On my health department website it said exactly what the minimum size requirement is. Hopefully they have the same where you live or might have to give them a ring

FRANK! I’m getting ready to install my plumbing, and I’m bought the same water heater. I plan on mounting it under the drain boards of my three bay. Do you have any thoughts on that placement? I’m mounting the splash guard hand sink just to the left of the three bay, I plan on mounting the heater under all of that.

Ok Frank when running the gas lines, I have a small 12x6 trailer but am gonna set my hood and griddle near the far left rear door, a little further then you ran yours but my 32x64 trailer entrance door sits between the front wall and the griddle, can I run it above the door? To the gas griddle

Sometimes. You have to play around with the dial in the front.

Very cool!! Great pump. The water pump just gets plugged in to a regular outlet and I added it to a switch to use when needed

Yes removed back legs and screwed to trailer wall. Well it's been a almost a year and it still solid as can be. No issues

Hi congrats on the 100k subscribers !! What are you doing for an ac/ heat unit?
Not 100k yet. Just 1k but soon we will be there. No Ac/heat unit just portable fan or heater if it gets too hot or cold.
You can always add one in later, but I haven't seen it as a necessity on my food truck yet.
