    copper anti-seize is the best for the O2 sensor threads, they'll come back out a few years later much easier than any other method.. We used it in aviation since forever ago. Great step by step mate, love your work.

    Very interested in this bike. I think it's what royal Enfield should have done instead of the shotgun. Great upgrade to my classic 500. My concerns is the valve adjustment and oil change seems more involved than the interceptor. Especially if you need shims. Second I would desire same performance as interceptor. By that i mean DNA e kind of peppiness, ability to maintain 65 to 75 long term highway driving.

  • @HorseMalone
    @HorseMalone 5 месяцев назад

    Certainly looks the part. What is needed now are replacement longer studs and a proper large finned exhaust clamp. Problem is most owners would snap the existing studs in the head when removing them. Edit... Would not be beyond your engineering skills to manufacture a large finned clamp with recessed mounting holes and special nuts with a shoulder to fit.
    Can the idle RPM be reduced to get a better Bof, Bof, Bof sound ?

      I paid 5495 for my bsa new. Right price. Think they overpriced them but a few dealers doing deals. Think the triumph is very nice. Bsa is lovely torquey motor. 40hp from a 400 will be a revvy motor but that's OK.

    • @user-lh6fg4fs6y
      @user-lh6fg4fs6y 4 месяца назад

      The Triumph 400 produces its 40 horsepower at 9k rpm, and its appearance is more youthful and catchy, while the BSA is a more classic motorcycle and is more for a measured ride, producing its 45 horsepower already at 6.5k rpm. I like triumph motorcycles, and the speed 400 is also a cool motorcycle, but still these are very different motorcycles, although formally both are classic. And yes, the exhaust is fire! Great view and sound!
