I have a chronic cough since covid that worsened recently but when I went to urgent care on my first visit. They did a covid test/ flu swab. They then did a chest X-ray of my lungs which was negative and ordered an antibiotic. I am very lucky the urgent care I use is pretty good. My primary doctor is very knowledgeable and if he doesn’t know something he looks it up but he’s very busy with patients so I often go to urgent care. I didn’t always have this care. My old doctor used to put my symptoms off as psychosomatic, so I searched for a new doctor who listens to me and who I trust. I’m glad I made the switch

You are a lovely person and a great communicator. Thank you for your video. I hope you get the transplant and recover into full good health.
Btw, I feel the same way about test results coming to our patient portals before our doctors can give them to us. For me (a breast cancer survivor) it’s the same test of will: I won’t look, will await doctor’s report or letter saying results; okay, I MUST look and at least I’ll know NOW. And then sometimes uncertain or confusing information.

I worry about getting cancer, because my husband isn’t very consoling. He’s a great man, but when it comes to me hurting, he rolls his eyes and tells me to basically suck it up. I saw a video of a husband berating his very sick wife. She had terminal cancer and was dying and she was recording him. When I watched that, I felt that’s what will happen to me. He’s very intolerable. 🥹
