My buddy swelled up like that with his bone cancer. And then at the end the swelling went down and he was looking better and then he passed. I had a dream about him the night he passed. We were in a limo going to see his favorite race horse. I just remember him telling me he was ok. I woke up crying and I called him and his brother answered the phone telling me he passed in the middle of the night. It gave me proof of the afterlife.
The morning my mother passed (she battled for years with cancer) I woke up crying. It was raining that morning. I will never forget that day. I begged my dad to take me to the hospital with him to go visit her (she was in Hospice). He said no. I knew in my heart that that would be the day I lost her 😢. Before I even made it to school that day, I was told that my mom was gone. I was mad my dad for a long time because he didn’t take me with him to go see her. I would’ve at least gotten the chance to tell her I love her again. She’s visited me in my dreams many times over the years, sometimes giving me instructions. I can go on about why, but I’ll just say I also have proof of the afterlife and that love is eternal.
Wow mirror image of my mom. She had stage 4 metastatic gastrointestinal cancer. It BROKE ME EVEN AS A CHILD. She died at 32 or 33 I was only 6 years old. Mach 20 2005. I can only remember fragments of her deterioration. I don’t remember her voice, favorite color or food but I know she was in pain. I’m so glad it’s over , THE PAIN. She left behind 5 children. Praying for her and happy they actually receive financial support ,maybe put it in a trust fund unlike My father who blew me and my younger sisters checks.
I’m so sorry for your loss. I lost my dad to AML (very aggressive leukemia) and he died less than 2 months after diagnosis and when he was hospitalized to start treatment. He died less than a month after being admitted for chemo and never made it home. This was in 2021! Big hugs to you🧡🧡🧡 (orange hearts is for leukemia)
Same with my grandma. She was smoking since 18 years old and she is still smoking now at 80! Not even a trip to the doctor for a general checkup. She says she still feels fine.
Cushing’s is a BRUTAL condition! Compound it with stage 4 cancer and it truly is a miracle this mother has the strength to keep going. I realize her motivation now is to be well enough to make some beautiful memories with them, but to be able to put on a brave front given her prognosis is true courage. May she create the most meaningful memories for her children and family to remember her and cherish them forever.

Sometimes Drs have to give you that 3 month expectancy & some people out live that even by a few years or even 10 or more. My husband was given that when he was young. His Cancer had spread all over but he is cancer free 20 years later. Stay strong 💪 fight the Cancer & live for those children 🙏 & for you.

I'm sorry she developed lung cancer. I smoked cigarettes for 37 years but when I started wheezing, I stopped smoking. I thought I had COPD because it was hard to force air out of my lungs. I knew that zinc healed infections, so I started taking a lot of it every day, and my lungs cleared up. Now there's no more wheezing, and I can quickly force air out of my lungs.
That is so sad, I hope she gets to spend time in beautiful places and her children are taken care of. It is so tragic to have such a young wonderful mom get so sick.

I know it's frustrating but there are many scientists and doctors across the U.S. trying to find a cure for various cancers. Lung cancer kills more women than breast cancer every year. And many people who get lung cancer have never even smoked or vaped.

People forget that cancer is partially influenced by your environment but also your own genetic makeup. Some people are just more predisposed to certain cancers based on small mutations in their genes. Honestly if you blame someone for having cancer you're like an awful human being. Not to mention anyone regardless of how healthy their lifestyle is, can always still be at risk for developing a cancer at some point throughout their life. Be kind to one another.
My great grandpa worked on/painted cars when he was younger and had no idea how toxic some of the paints were. Years after he stopped (and he never smoked, even when it was popular) he got lung cancer. They think it had to do with the paints he worked with. Sometimes people are unlucky.
This really make me tear up. I can’t imagine how difficult that must be, and I can only imagine how it must be for the kids knowing your mom could be gone any day. 😢

I know it's frustrating but there are many scientists and doctors across the U.S. trying to find a cure for various cancers. Lung cancer kills more women than breast cancer every year. And many people who get lung cancer have never even smoked or vaped.
You are such a brave woman. I’m really impressed. All my love to you and your children.

I know someone who got lung cancer that never smoked and all people kept saying to her was that it was her own fault for smoking.
People forget that cancer is partially influenced by your environment but also your own genetic makeup. Some people are just more predisposed to certain cancers based on small mutations in their genes. Honestly if you blame someone for having cancer you're like an awful human being. Not to mention anyone regardless of how healthy their lifestyle is, can always still be at risk for developing a cancer at some point throughout their life. Be kind to one another.
People still are so uneducated in a world of information at the tip of our fingers. Radon a big cause. I swear the American diet isn’t helping.
Ignorant people are horrible.
My great grandpa worked on/painted cars when he was younger and had no idea how toxic some of the paints were. Years after he stopped (and he never smoked, even when it was popular) he got lung cancer. They think it had to do with the paints he worked with.
Sometimes people are unlucky.
This really make me tear up. I can’t imagine how difficult that must be, and I can only imagine how it must be for the kids knowing your mom could be gone any day.
