I absolutely love you two! These videos have been so enjoyable to watch. Anna, you are the best! What a fabulous team you both make. Your love and appreciation for all things sewing and your excitement is what we all feel. Isn’t it so lovely! 💖💖💖
I have missed Norma quite a bit and now we have lovely Rita! I wish that I could have a daughter in law like Anna, she is so sweet. Anna honestly seems to cherish her relationship with Kate.
By doing her downward dog, sweet kitty was reminding everyone to mind their bottom..... Tuck the lining into the outer bag all the way to the bag's bottom. 🐈
I have a clock in my kitchen that is right six months of the year. I am 75 with severe rheumatoid and osteoarthritis and won't climb on a ladder to change it. lol. I love watching you both and love your relationship.
I loved this tutorial / video! I felt like I sat across the table from you and Anna and Rita. If I were really there, I would love to have Rita sit in my lap.
Hello Kate and Anna, I received my English paper piecing project bag yesterday, the Fancy one and started on it last night. I was so thrilled to receive it. Your videos are inspiring and helpful. Both of you are like dear friends. God bless you. Sincerely, Debbie in Durham, NC
My German grandmother taught me to stitch and embroider. She had a saying that has stuck with me and I hear her voice in my head EVERY time I thread a needle…”Langes Schnur,Faules Madel”……long thread, lazy girl.🥰
We share that German heritage! My ancestors came over from Germany in the 1700's, and my native tongue is a variation of German (I was Amish my 1st 37 years). My Mom often said "Faule mauda mache Lange fauda". (Lazy maids make long threads) . I'm passing on the tradition to my daughter, who loves sewing as much as I do.
So glad to see that Cat Rita was along for this video. Looking forward to this afternoon and perusing the shop. I have loved all of these videos to see what will be there. And I’ve really enjoyed watching Anna grow in her quilting, skills and plans for the next project. It’s always a joy to see the two of you working together.
Here in the US, it’s called Daylight Savings time. And when the time changes we say remember to Fall back an hour, and in the Spring, when it changes back, we say Spring forward an hour.Thsts how I always remember it. Loved your video… You two are wonderful together….Great project bags….🪡🧵🪡❤️
The bag is absolutely adorable! Your relationship with each other is so sweet; you seem to really enjoy each other and have fun. I learn something new every time I watch you. Thanks!
I bought the sofa tote bag. It's absolutely wonderful and great quality. It's been so nice to see Anna back in front of the camera. Thank you, everyone involved. ❤🎉😊
You are correct! I'm from Ontario Canada and there's one little town about 2hours from us NEVER change their time. Iwish it would just stay the same all year round😊
The two of you are precious! My favorite videos when Kate is teaching Anna. A lovely friendship. I also love it when we see the finished projects when Anna gets them done.
Kate l have watched you from the VERY beginning. It truly has been an amazing journey. I watch you from Athens, Alabama. I look forward to see what you and Anna have put together for us to enjoy. It is wonderful how your family have joined in with you along the way, each giving their own special talent. All of you are amazing, l count you and yours to be a blessing for me. Oh yes, we do have to give your pets credit for their part for our entertainment. Yours is a magical world, thank you from deep in my heart for allowing all of us on the Lime Green Sofa to be a part. ❤
So great to see a play-by-play, how-to video with both of you. Anna, take us on a tour of your new home! Or take Kate on a tour of your new home for a tea party!!
Everyone should have a daughter in law like Anna! What a delight. She is the perfect student too. I love EPP which I learned from you and bought your EPP pincushion. And had so much fun I bought an accuquilt to make hexagons with and am using my scrap stash to make a EPP quilt with. Thank you Kate and Anna for such a fun video. Will be poking around the Christmas shop for sure ❤
Loved this video! You and Anna have such a wonderful relationship with each other and you can tell that the love and affection between you two is very real! I also love to see your relationship with your other family members.
Kate and Anna! I just love you two and watching your interaction. What a lovely relationship!!! The bag is adorable too!! And cat Rita!!! She is a beauty! I had to put my 18 yr old calico cat Rhonda to sleep this past week. So hard when they leave us!!!
I just love your channel! The editing on the videos is so engaging and a delight to watch. Your smiles are so beautiful and the projects are inspiring. Thank you, all of you, for all you do to offer these to all of us!
My favourite … when Anna joins you, I have been wanting to do paper piecing for a while. This is perfect to get me back into hand sewing on the evening with the wood stove warming us this season ! ❄️ thanks
I just love this. I received my order and am watching again as I sit here hand stitching together. It’s so fun. We are all here together stitching ❤ thank you Kate and Anna ❤❤❤❤❤
The two of you are soo sweet, great fit for learning. Thank you for sharing your joy of togetherness ❤. Love, love the color of the bag! Thanks for offering free shipping worldwide!
Absolutely love watching you two learning a project together,it reminds me of when my granny used to give me little patches, needle and thread to sew along with her. I am always able to relax and destress while watching. It’s so calming and your home and cabin is so warm and welcoming as you are. How I would love to be able to visit you ,come in have a cup of tea, maybe some scones and do some hand sewing and chitchat. I simply love your cat ,how precious and spoiled🐈❤️🐈. Kate I just love your videos and you’re just an amazing lady. God Bless you🥰🥰🥰
This video had me so intent in watching this project as I am excited to try making the bag. I’ve never done hexagons or elongated hexagons. You are such good gentle friends that I enjoy watching you both. I’m excited to order my items after tomorrow. Thank you so much.
I got my fancy kit and saw a surprise little heart on a square and a button! Made me smile all day! We are still recovering from the hurricanes so this has been a bright moment! Thank you so very much!!!
Another great video from The Last Homely House, the bags turned out a treat and helped me to see EPP is not as daunting as I thought. I love the rapport between Kate and Anna it is beautiful it speaks volumes about you both. Rita well who could resist her she is delightful.
I have never done patch work because it's always looked complicated but this bag project has really got me very interested in giving it a go. What a brilliant little bag!!! As a bag lover I really must make one of these. Thanks again for another fantastic project.🎉❤
Besides having a gorgeous bag/project at the end ..what a fun podcast to watch. Watching my podcasts gives me such joy/encouragement to craft. I have just ordered my EPP bag. I am super excited, but I will have to wait until Christmas Day to start it as it is a present. To Me, From Me. And why not! 😂 thank you Kate and Anna for another charming video with special appearance by lovely cat Rita 😻
Hello Kate and Anna. What a beautiful relationship you two have. I’m still remembering when you Kate was showing Anna to quilt. You are so gentle in your instructions. I hope to try some of these Christmas gifts this year. Thank you both for this video. Beautiful project.
What a wonderful way to introduce English paper piecing in a beautiful bag. I knit, crochet delicate things and shuttle tat so I may add a little pocket inside. 💕💕
What a lovely video!!! Anna is just adorable💕. The two of you work so well together🥰. And it is so much fun watching you teach her how to do some of the crafts that you love. It is really heartwarming♥️. How blessed you both are to have each other! Thank you!!
There are not two other people I would rather watch than you and Anna. I love the relationship that glows between you. It makes me so happy. I do loads of paper piecing and am one of those who stitch each corner just through the fabric. That way the only thing I remove is the paper. I put a hole in the middle of the paper and it is easy to remove with a bamboo skewer or alcoholic drink straw🙃. ❤️❤️
I am in the Southeast of the US. The time change messes up us as well. The government talked about not doing the time changes, but it all fell through. So everyone has to be confused twice a year. UGH! We feel your time switching as well. Great video. Love watching you three working together. Cat Rita looks so sweet.
I didn't really like a lot of bright colors, but you have changed my mind. I have really enjoyed your use of colors. Those are both beautiful, I can't choose which one I like the most.
BEAUTIFUL BAGS! Oh my goodness - LOVE 'plain and fancy'! You were absolutely right about changing the clocks in the States. I lived there for a while and moved from the East coast to the West coast - to Arizona - and MOST of Arizona doesn't change their clocks! I say 'most of' because in northern Arizona, there's a big chunk that is Navajo land and they DO change their clocks, so you can drive through quite a few time zones when toodling around the Southwest of the United States! I will admit, I LOVED not changing the clocks, but, I'm happy to be back in England now. Sorry about the ramble - thank you for this video! I have 3 EPP pillows (that I'm currently leaning on!) that were created from your Kaffe Fassett EPP kits! Now I'll have to add a bag (or two!). Love how you and Anna use colour so differently - it's a treat to watch you both. xx
Both bags are fantastic. My preference is always the fancy one, as each piece is colourful and unique. What a nice project to do together. Thank you, ladies.
I've made 2 totebags similar to these bags. 1 of hexagons and another of triangles. I used my scraps from Kaffe Fosset fabrics. They are beautiful if I might say so. Thanks to you for your encouragement and generosity in featuring the tutorials.
