Did you notice on what he was saying about the thousand year reign, he did not teach the difference between the kingdom of God and the kingdom of heaven. Most people in the crowd actually do not know the word of God. That is why he is able to cause confusion and doubt on what you believe. He was saying that the people who don't believe in the melinium and those who do believe in the mellinium both can be correct. That is incorrect if you know the difference between the kingdom of God and the kingdom of heaven.
The kingdom of God and the kingdom of heaven are not the same. We have to be born again to enter into the kingdom of God. The kingdom of heaven Christ taught about and in the parables is Christ's reign upon the earth. They could not have the kingdom without the king since they rejected him.
Oh my gosh! You were supposed to tell us what your position is. GAH!! Now I'm just free floating with everything I have ever learned blown to smithereens. Well... time to pick up the pieces and make some sense of it all. :)
Number 4 works for 33 ad if you take into account a 360 day year. The Bible supports a 360 day year in Genesis, Daniel and Revelation The Flood 5 months = 150 days 30 days/month = 360 days/year Each year can be counted as 360 days 483 years that each equal 360 days = 173,880 days March 5th 444BC is the start date! 173,880 days later it was = March 30th 33 AD. This factors in leap years At least 2 reasonable interpretations of the timeline point toward Christ (messianic expectation was very high) According to Daniel 9 He had to come while the Temple was still standing What did this prophecy foretell? The rebuilding of the city of Jerusalem The timing of Jesus’ coming The Messiah’s sacrificial death The destruction of the 2nd Temple and city 70AD Unfulfilled Another Temple shall be built Another destruction
@@stereotype5868 OK then your view of the abomination of desolation in revelation is different. I think it plainly says this person will sit in the temple as God. I don’t think that’s happened.
The apostate Pharisees were “seated” in the chair of Moses. When they later dedicated the Temple in AD64, they were in fact denying Jesus’ sacrifice and that Jesus had come in the flesh (which is definitionally “antichrist”).
Sounds like the presenter is confusing 70 weeks with 69 weeks. All the things in Daniel 9:24 are fulfilled after 70 weeks, but Jesus is crucified at the 69 weeks, or a bit after. That means making an end of sin and sealing up prophecy happens at a time independent of Jesus' crucifiction and resurrection.
Increase of understanding just by listening to Dr. Heiser.

+Desma Jones that's just your interpretation.

so humbling after hearing this

The Flood
5 months = 150 days

483 years that each equal 360 days = 173,880 days

The Messiah’s sacrificial death
The destruction of the 2nd Temple and city

Unfulfilled
Another Temple shall be built
Another destruction
Yes.
There is no prophecy of another temple.
Jesus pointed at that temple

@Pond3r Thiz Heiser says let the text speak for itself. Sounds like you prefer the argument from authority (logical fallacy) approach.
Greek = 666 Latin = 616 It's not cheating.
@Pond3r Thiz Then enlighten me.
