Hey trev. I believe that one of the reasons or the main reason they are called the angels of death is because when they shoot out flares, it looks like an angel
Not trying to nitpick but: 1: That’s a C-130, not an AC-130 2: Other branches also fly C-130s. The marines have variants for refueling helicopters and the Blue Angels have one called Fat Albert that transports stuff for them.
I was checking for if someone had said this yet, but I want to expand. The C-130 is unweaponized, and a cargo plane, and troop transport etc. the AC-130 is a J, and has guns, but can’t transport stuff
The AC-130 Spectre is flown exclusively by the Air Force similar to what you're talking about, however different variants of the C-130 are flown by all branches.
That is not true, the Air Force is not the only branch to use the C-130. The Coast Guard uses it, Navy uses them as the KC-130 and the USN Blue Angels use them to but it has Marine markings who also use them.
Oh man, do I miss jumping out of this bad boy. Definitely not the most enjoyable flight but jumping out of it was awesome. One time in Africa we were keeping the locals off the runway, so we were almost on the runway itself when the c130 was landing and took off shortly after. Being this close to them really showed their size and power. Thanks for the video, Trev!
Big fan of the series Trev! You never let us down even if you're going through hard times. It's just super dope that you're interested like i am in military aviation or in general!
The C-130J Super Hercules is the most recent model. She’s amazing. It’s actually the smallest of the Air Force’s transport/cargo aircraft. The C-17 Globemaster III is the mid-size and the C-5 is the largest. She’s a friggin’ monster. Look up the C-130J Super Hercules though.
The angel of death is linked to its flares, when they deploy all there flares it looks like and angel wings so they aren't nicknamed the angel of death the look of the flares is
I want to believe over 2500 have been built and the first flight was in 1966. Can't believe they been in service over 56 years. They are just like the CH-47 Chinook that has been in service since 1962.
1:07, Am I in hell? As a Naval Aviator, that is hands down the scariest thing, I have ever seen. No matter how many times I rewind, it never stops being petrifying.
Hey man, love your vids, my grandpa has an enlarged heart and had to have surgery, you kept me from goin crazy. My grandpa is fine, he had the surgery about a month and is feeling better than ever!
So the reason they put windows at your feet, is so the pilots can see exactly where they need to drop vehicles, gear and men. And MOST IMPORTANTLY when that gunner is trying to fire ordinance onto enemies, the pilot can see how much he needs to turn and tilt the plane because the guns do not have much for movement area
I did an Air Portability Team Leaders course years ago in the Army (Australia) and did my LAPES (Low Altitude Parachute Ejection System) in a C130J, you know, ejecting stores, supplies, vehicles etc. It was pretty cool.
My favorite youtuber flying my favorite aircraft there is nothing better than that. I love this flight sim series and love your enthusiasm because I definitely feel the same way while watching
The Lockheed Martin AC130 this one being an H the J had updated 5 blade props on T56 Allison's used mainly for cargo and recon and CAN be outfitted with cannons but isn't fast by no means whatsoever plus there are over 2500 c130s in service as we speak
How do you get the C-130 in Microsoft flight simulator premium deluxe edition and I really want to fly the C-17 globemasterIII in Microsoft flight simulator premium deluxe edition when I use my Xbox series X
thing is…. you’re flying a c-130 hercules, the cargo variant.. edit: also the c-47, c-119 and their cargo variants were completely different aircraft than the c-130
Awesome vid Trev! I got to go in an AC-130 once at an airshow which was so cool. Would love to see you check out DCS or Ace Combat 7 story (and maybe even the VR part) for some more military planes
Trev love the video, some misinformation was presented though. The last C-130 that went down was in Savannah, Ga headed back to Puerto Rico as it was undergoing some maintenance. I worked that incident and all 9 on board perished in the incident.
In my hometown they do ac130 practice flights over the susquehanna river (Harrisburg pa)and it’s freaking dopeeeee makes a super low banking turn then just takes off up into the heavens
Howitzers don't shoot missiles brother, they shoot shells. Also your flying a C-130, that's the basic Cargo plane. AC-130 Gunship is what has the weaponry. Sorry but usually your on point with your facts.
The Blue Angels fly a C-130J Super Hercules called “Fat Albert”. Only other branch that flies one besides Air Force I believe, since the Angels are Navy.
The Marines are the only other branch that operates them besides the Air Force, Fat Albert is Marines, the blue angles are Navy. Just wanted to make sure we were clear
Just met you at first watch😂 still can’t believe i met you after watching for so many years! I was nervous so i forgot to mention, you should start up the COD game battles again!
I'm a Crew Chief on the C-130J. The only time I've seen the flight deck of the legacy models was during tech school. The flight deck looks so forgien to me now.
hey Trevor, when you use the same yolk and throttle for the different aircraft, do you have to calibrate it for every aircraft? Or once it's calibrated for the game it's fine?
*ENEMY AC-130 ABOVE!*
Only 18 likes!? Lemme fix that
*Fast run inside the buildings* i always said that after the announcement
Please AC-130? 🙏
Get downnn!!!!!
Nice to meet you AC-130
Let’s all take a moment to appreciate Trevor’s work ethic even through personal struggles.
true
Agreed
No, because the video says ''AC-130'' when it is a ''C-130''
Wait what happend
@@dasportsfan2122 I’m wondering the same thing
Hey trev. I believe that one of the reasons or the main reason they are called the angels of death is because when they shoot out flares, it looks like an angel
exactly
Yep that’s true
My local flight school instructor is in the air national guard and is a c130 pilot which was really cool learning from someone with that experience
Not trying to nitpick but:
1: That’s a C-130, not an AC-130
2: Other branches also fly C-130s. The marines have variants for refueling helicopters and the Blue Angels have one called Fat Albert that transports stuff for them.

The C-130 is unweaponized, and a cargo plane, and troop transport etc. the AC-130 is a J, and has guns, but can’t transport stuff
yeahp. the dude who made the video has been horribly misinformed
@@aaronlarson4358 the AC-130 isn’t just a J model
AC 130 has barrels sticking out on the left of the plane. This is just a plain C130 TREV has been misinformed on military planes
He said C-130, but the title said AC-130
So that’s a regular C-130 you have there. The Marines also fly the C-130
so does the navy and the coast guard
exactly. Had the mod actually had the mounted guns i'd be impressed.
The AC-130 Spectre is flown exclusively by the Air Force similar to what you're talking about, however different variants of the C-130 are flown by all branches.
Lasers

Been in a few 130s and they are so uncomfortable if youre a passenger. Great little transport but the big bertha would be the C5. Things a monster
Yes the C5 is an absolute sky pig!
Oh man, do I miss jumping out of this bad boy. Definitely not the most enjoyable flight but jumping out of it was awesome. 1:43 don't forget the us navy blue angles 😁
The blue angles don’t technically operate fat Albert, fat Albert is owned and operated by the marines
MS FS and F1 have easily been your best 2 series!! Love it 😍
Big fan of the series Trev! You never let us down even if you're going through hard times. It's just super dope that you're interested like i am in military aviation or in general!
That was by far the most insane save ever!! 👀 being a vet and jumping from them, I loved this one!
Thanks for your service.
"Only the USAF flies this."
Blue Angels Fat Albert Pilot: "Am I a joke to you?"
USMC with more than just the one... Uhhh guys?? Helloooooo!!!
I lost my dad to cancer last year. Keep your head up man, it will get better
The c130 doesnt really shoot things, just the gunship variant which is rare does. its a transport plane but good vid!
Yeah I was about to say this too.

4:35 "watching, waiting, striking when ready" basically Koda
1:53 not true the c-130 is operated by the coast guard but the ac-130 is only operated by the air force, maybe that’s what you meant
They actually have a FREE one on the flight sim website and it was WORKING insides too, looks reallllllly good.
Jumped out of these plenty of times. Always a thrill
FINALLY this season returns
Finally he uploaded about Microsoft flight sim
Hey Trev the Marines and Navy both fly the J variants, but the Air Force does mainly fly this beast. Which also brings me to my hopes for Fat Albert
Love it when Trev suits up
I’m actually a Airman in the US Air Force and my job is to load C-130s, C-17s, and C5Ms up with cargo
Isn’t that the C-130 which is the transport version? Because I don’t see any guns sticking out from the side, but it’s still a majestic aircraft
That c-130 is just the cargo plane that is not the ac-130 the ac-130 you can see the guns so you are flying at cargo and troop transport
he knows lmao
@@ziepex7009 I know I was explaining to the people in the comments that might not of known 😁
I love it when Trevor uploads
Only when trevor uploads

How do you get the C-130 in Microsoft flight simulator premium deluxe edition and I really want to fly the C-17 globemasterIII in Microsoft flight simulator premium deluxe edition when I use my Xbox series X
The C-130 Herc and all others are very useful aircraft for short field landings and takeoffs! Hopefully my future aircraft after OTS
thing is…. you’re flying a c-130 hercules, the cargo variant..
edit: also the c-47, c-119 and their cargo variants were completely different aircraft than the c-130
11:37 not anymore it’s now 60 to 120 fps (frames per second) but if you got an older version of a tablet phone or even computer you would get 30 fps

Whenever Trev uploads it makes us all smile, admit it. 😃😃
Exactly
Yes
greAt job tmarTn2 don't stop what u do my guy
An honor to fly with captain Martin

Love these vids, keep them coming
I always watch the MSFS vids love em
That last maneuver!!! Love the flight sim vids!
Keep this series going!!
Just to correct that is not the ac130 that is just the c130 since it doesn’t have all the guns on the sides
AC-130 standing by, repeat, AC-130 standing by.
Sorry to let know the Marines, Coast Guard and maybe the Navy also fly the C-130 . If you would have said the AC-130 then you would have been correct.

A-10 Thunderbolt II next?
Hair on point.. glasses on point.. & jacket on point! Love your content man. Don’t ever stop!
They’re mainly used to drop off heavy equipment like tanks cars troops paratroopers and also refueling other aircraft.
P-8 posiedon member here we actually have a Navy Squadron that flies the AC-130
Do the king Air! Such an important airframe.
Wtf is this guy talking about? The Coast Guard, Navy, Marines & Air nation guard all fly C-130’s!! And it came into service in 56’ not 66’…..
"The angel of death". You realize you just flew a cargo plane right? 😂
Great video. Fly the A10 Warthog next!!!!
trevor please keep doing whatchu doing man, it’s inspiring 🫶
Great video Trev! Sticking with the theme of military planes, the B52 would be cool to see in flight sim!
C-130 rolling down the strip 32 sappers on a one way trip
Trev you should do a video on them 1940s fighter planes
The USCG also flies the HC-130, so USAF isn't the only military branch that uses them.
The amount of times I see these by my house is crazy.
Just met you at first watch😂 still can’t believe i met you after watching for so many years! I was nervous so i forgot to mention, you should start up the COD game battles again!

Ok
Keep doing what you're doing bro.
When I fly I have to use first person, so I couldn't deal with those graphics lol, but good video!
Another fun fact... they're usually code named Spooky.
What happened to super cooper Sunday?
His mom recently passed so I’d imagine he’s taking a little extra time
He did not have a super cooper Sunday video for 11 months

Please do a video going around south africa
Is there an A-10 thunderbolt in the game?
The Marines fly the C-130 as well.
