  • Teriyaki tofu balls is a vegetarian recipe which can replace your favorite meatballs. Instead of ground meat, the fresh tofu is crushed and combined with vegetables, enough to make this dish extra healthy and flavorful. The tofu made this dish super budget friendly but still high with good quality proteins. Each tofu ball is fried just enough to have a crispy outside but tender core. Pouring the teriyaki sauce or having it as a dip will surely enliven each tofu ball. The teriyaki tofu ball is best served as a finger food or an appetizer.

    INGREDIENTS
    500 grams tofu
    Bunch of spring onions (chopped)
    1 large carrot (minced)
    1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/3 cup cornstarch
    Oil for frying
    3 cloves garlic (minced)
    3 tablespoons oyster sauce
    2 tablespoons soy sauce
    1 tablespoon vinegar
    1 teaspoon ginger powder
    1 teaspoon sesame oil
    3 tablespoons brown sugar
    Slurry (1 tablespoon cornstarch + 1 cup water)

    Pede po kayang dagdagan siya ng ground chicken at sweet potato yung tofu?
