If it wasn’t for some concerns on the engine transmission, and horrible ikea dealers are, with scams and over 10,000 markup, this would be a great experience to own this car, because the extended warranty takes care of it. But dealers in California are out of control, and quite frankly they take the joy out buying a car from KIA
Nice review, however you did not review the instrument cluster on the EX, which is different from the SX. We originally had on order an EX, and since KIA had not started the build, we canceled that one and upgraded to the SX. So now we will have a longer wait time for the new car. I figure it will probably be built around July or August, maybe even September. Who knows?
Well we changed our order on March 3 to the SX and it was built on April 14, 2023 and we took delivery on May 23. Very happy, very quiet and nice ride. Can’t believe how bright the headlights are, nice Dash Layout. Comfortable.
You missed to mention about the homelink system built-in, heated side mirrors, spare tires, maybe small things for you to elaborate, but those are important to know as well.
::: Love our Kia, but the fact that many Kia dealerships are STILL doing 10k mark ups is, frankly, disgusting 👉 They want to live in 2021 forever, and will never get our business again until they return to 2023 reality.
Hmmm dont know about the exterior design though, for some reason Korean cars design aren’t really attractive, but i have to admit the Genesis SUV does attract me both exterior and interior wise, if i ever shop for one i think Genesis SUV would be one😊but. Nevertheless these Telluride series are not bad interior wise.
Kia has very specific oil consumption tests and considers one quart of oil used in 1,000 miles or more normal. Based on Kia's criteria for oil consumption, the engine is operating as designed. REALLY ?
Had a 2016 Kia Sedona traded last year for a Telluride, we had almost 80k miles and zero issues with regular maintenance. A full year into the Telluride and zero issues as well, it’s a great fit for our family of 6.
Doesn’t matter. Notice how none are sold with a hitch? Kia does not have a towing harness for this vehicle. Aftermarket, you have to splice into wiring which will void your warranty.
What a stupid reason for a 4 wheel drive: lower gas mileage, costs more money, more money to align, all 4 tires must have identical wear, more things to go wrong
This video will help to visualize the exact differences between the SX and EX from Kia Telluride 2023 mid-size SUV. 😍

Order one from Peak Kia in CO. They'll sell you one at MSRP and ship it to you way cheaper than any of CA dealer's nonsense. We love ours
@@SBUBandit thank you! I will look into it. California dealers suck!
@@doc8732 Ask for a salesman named Kerry Kennicut. He has helped a lot of people on the Telluride message board get theirs

Haha we are bringing you the car haha California is pretty annoying.
This is a game changer. Thank you

Wow
Insane market and interesting times we are living in.

Sorry for that! But will try to not forget next time 😅
Due to Kia labor union in Korea, most of Korean people can't be behind the wheel in Korea. We really wanna import Telluride from the U.S.
Interesting. Why is that?
I want a telluride so bad. But that mark up keeps me away
Not for long
@@VagabondBuildshey when would u say they’re gonna get cheaper (specifically a 2022 sx)
Thank you for the great comparison! 😊
Glad to be of help!

I honestly see the market slowing down. We will see how bad it falls
Thank u for the heads up!
Yeah I’m seeing tellurides on the lot nearly for 2 months with a mark up of 5k. It ain’t an in demand car if it’s been 2 months and no one wants it
I hope the market dies for these thieves. $7k markup for greed…you should be out of business.
Can you make a compairson video between yhe serento hybrid ex vs sx. No one on youtube has made a compairison video
If we can get our hands on some we are more than open on doing it.
Does it come with bench style for mid row instead of captain chairs?
I believe you have the option of the bench seat.
It's nice that they got rid of the Telluride letters for the front hood. @vagabondbuilds you guys rock!
Haha greatly appreciate your feedback and support! Thanks a lot! We’re trying 😄
Great video on comparison 👏
Thanks! 👍
does the EX also have ambient lighting ?
Only SX trim and above I believe have the ambient lighting.
Panoramic sunroof to the front and the mono roof to the the back very simple. Fix this Kia.
This is what you’d do with it?
They need to give you a case of oil with every Telluride, I'm using 3 quarts between oil changes of 7500 miles.
No way! You sure it’s not just your motor?
@@VagabondBuilds ruclips.net/user/shortsYWOhD7fGIIU
mine burns oil as well. its a 2020 w 76k on it. other than that everything still works well.
no air controls for 2nd row?
I didn’t cover that? Sorry, I’ll pay attention next time
Great video, I would know how to properly pronounce a vehicle’s name before creating a video of it. But, seriously great video!
Haha totally sorry and I’ve been hearing that often. Will correct!
Hopefully this dealership isn’t still fleecing customers for 10k, dealership near me is doing msrp
Yea I totally forget. Some dealerships are dropping mark ups
dealership couldnt send 5 mins to clean the bird shit off the suv?
Lol lol hahahahahaha

Nasty front bumpers... Dollar store
Where you getting bumpers for a dollar haha I’d like to know!?
Only 5000lb tow rating for those 2 trims! The Xpro is 5500 and has a trans cooler.

Very good out look on it. I would say if you are in a snow state or you are an avid skier than you could use the awd
It's always fun watching the front wheel drive cars get stuck at the end of the driveways or store parking lots from December to April
