If it wasn’t for some concerns on the engine transmission, and horrible ikea dealers are, with scams and over 10,000 markup, this would be a great experience to own this car, because the extended warranty takes care of it. But dealers in California are out of control, and quite frankly they take the joy out buying a car from KIA
Order one from Peak Kia in CO. They'll sell you one at MSRP and ship it to you way cheaper than any of CA dealer's nonsense. We love ours

Nice review, however you did not review the instrument cluster on the EX, which is different from the SX.
We originally had on order an EX, and since KIA had not started the build, we canceled that one and upgraded to the SX. So now we will have a longer wait time for the new car. I figure it will probably be built around July or August, maybe even September. Who knows?

Well we changed our order on March 3 to the SX and it was built on April 14, 2023 and we took delivery on May 23. Very happy, very quiet and nice ride. Can’t believe how bright the headlights are, nice Dash Layout. Comfortable.
Due to Kia labor union in Korea, most of Korean people can't be behind the wheel in Korea. We really wanna import Telluride from the U.S.

Yeah I’m seeing tellurides on the lot nearly for 2 months with a mark up of 5k. It ain’t an in demand car if it’s been 2 months and no one wants it

They need to give you a case of oil with every Telluride, I'm using 3 quarts between oil changes of 7500 miles.

mine burns oil as well. its a 2020 w 76k on it. other than that everything still works well.
does the EX also have ambient lighting ?
Only SX trim and above I believe have the ambient lighting.
Panoramic sunroof to the front and the mono roof to the the back very simple. Fix this Kia.

Hmmm dont know about the exterior design though, for some reason Korean cars design aren’t really attractive, but i have to admit the Genesis SUV does attract me both exterior and interior wise, if i ever shop for one i think Genesis SUV would be one😊but. Nevertheless these Telluride series are not bad interior wise.

Kia has very specific oil consumption tests and considers one quart of oil used in 1,000 miles or more normal. Based on Kia's criteria for oil consumption, the engine is operating as designed. REALLY ?

i have 3.3 v6 in santa fe 8yo with 135 000 km, oil changes every 6000 km, not losing any oil
Had a 2016 Kia Sedona traded last year for a Telluride, we had almost 80k miles and zero issues with regular maintenance. A full year into the Telluride and zero issues as well, it’s a great fit for our family of 6.
It's pronounced Tell-you-ride not Tella-Ride.

What a stupid reason for a 4 wheel drive: lower gas mileage, costs more money, more money to align, all 4 tires must have identical wear, more things to go wrong
Very good out look on it. I would say if you are in a snow state or you are an avid skier than you could use the awd
It's always fun watching the front wheel drive cars get stuck at the end of the driveways or store parking lots from December to April
Only 5000lb tow rating for those 2 trims! The Xpro is 5500 and has a trans cooler.

Doesn’t matter. Notice how none are sold with a hitch? Kia does not have a towing harness for this vehicle. Aftermarket, you have to splice into wiring which will void your warranty.
