Thanks for bringing colors to the table. I've been shooting with pretty much all Canon cameras and now Fujifilm. Both brands are considered to handle colors very well but I gotta say...the colors from Panasonic are simply the best. They have found the magical mix. True to life colors and still vivid and punchy in a very pleasing way. If you boost Canon colors to match Panasonic saturation, the Canon files usually look like Disney unless you work with each hue separately. But that takes forever.

I have an S5. I bought it specifically for vlogging. I love it for that purpose. I've never had any issues with the auto focus for video. I think people just jump on the "bad auto focus" bandwagon without even giving it a chance. I've never taken a still photo with mine but maybe I will give it a try after watching your video. The main thing that has held me back up to this point is the ergonomics are not that great for my large hands. It feels awkward in my hand because I cannot get my whole hand on it, only a few fingers. When I vlog I use a pixi tripod to hold it which works really well. I am actually thinking of buying a Nikon Z9 for photos because of the large grip. If I stay with Panasonic I might consider the S1R or S1H because of the larger form factor.
Every new camera is judged on one thing - vlogging capability. Given that walking, talking RUclips creators comprise a tiny fraction of camera users, this is a silly metric to judge a camera on. As you say, stills AF is as good as anything, and video autofocus is fine for most users if you set the parameters correctly. With current tech 24mp is optimal if you want good video and still photography, in a full frame hybrid camera.
This is so true, I agree whole-heartedly! I see this camera as more suited towards the “working” creator who’s behind the camera for the most part. Hi from Rome (IT), sorry for my english! I've just bought the S5 + 24-105 f4 (like you) and I am really really happy with this camera. I also like your Channel and the way you explain things, my compliment. Since I am a beginner, could you please make a video about the best settings either Foto and video for the S5, especially the AF settings ? I would really appreciate it. "A beginner setting" , just to go out and shoot in Landscape scenario, street, portraits and simple videos as well. For example I found very useful to activate the back focus button in AFS mode but I'm not sure when (and how) using the AFC mode. Thank you
Hi, great video i have sony a6400 and i want tjis Panasonic s5 for the price 1500$ but im worry the af and sharpness. How good its af?bfor portrait And has eye focus
i just ordered this camera and so happy to find this video…i do not care about how it records video because honestly i have my iphone 13 pro to film video…i wanted a camera for still shots that works well in lowlight so you absolutely answered my question on that
@@JoshCameron I shoot pro wrestling and in a dark arena, I almost returned it with no pop up flash but reading your comment makes me want to atleast give it a try..do you have any recommendations on an external flash? also mine came with the base lens, so any recommendations on a bigger lens would be helpful as well.
I just ordered this exact combo body and lens (both near mint condition) for just over 1k. I would have got it for just under 1k if I had traded in some old kit. But I am super excited to test them out when they arrive! The versatility of the lens means you can shoot portraits, landscape, street (night and day) and architecture and more, and get full frame high quality images!

Hows the autofocus performance when it comes to photography and what are you’re overall thoughts on switching to the S5 for photography. TIA

Thank you! Yeah I was so tempted by the S1 but ended up getting this one since it’s lighter and would be better on a gimbal etc. I am thinking about getting an S1 too though!
If you had a choice, between Panasonic S5, Panasonic G9 and Olympus EM1-Mark II, if they are same values. Which would would you get? I need 4k no crop, IBIS and best punchy colors, which of those would be the best pick?
The S5 would be my choice, just because of the full frame sensor and extra dynamic range. You can really tell the difference when you compare it to a M43 camera. I used the GH6 alongside my S5 for a while and could really tell!
@@JoshCameron Thanks for the reply. The reason why I ask I have a metabones adapter and lots of Canon EF lenses would like to use it but I think the S5 uses different mount so thinking about it.
Hay Josh, I almost watch every video of yours and Luca Bono, as a wedding photographer, I almost dropped the idea of buying s5, However, this video has inspired me again to think of buying it. My next option was Fujifilm XT4. Thanks Man.
You should defo give it a try! It seems that it gets a lot of mixed press from various different sources about how good it really is.... and it’s a shame. It truly is so much better than meets the eye and the specs are truly outstanding at this price point! The GH5 has been ahead of its time ever since it came out though and I can completely understand why you’re still content with it even in 2021, years after its release! Gonna check out your channel as well bud - stay in touch 🙌🏼
@@JoshCameron Thanks, man. Now that I can get 5.9k pro res raw with my Ninja V - that's bonkers. I'm shocked more people aren't talking about this. Everyone is losing their minds about Sony Prores Raw in 4K with the Ninja and the A7S3 - but 5.9K from Panasonic and no seems to care. I'm befuddled.
Yeah it’s crazy! I think it’s because Sony in general gets a lot more press - especially on RUclips. They have a huge fan base and following since all of the bigger creators in this niche are using Sony!
So renowned portrait and fashion photographer Peter Coulson and Mr Leica, Matt Osborne, did a test. They mounted the best portrait lens available today, the Leica M 75mm f1.4 Summilux, a $6k lens, on an S5 and a Leica SL2/s and took a series of images in controlled lighting in the studio. There was no discernible difference in the output from either camera. The only difference was a simpler menu system on the Leica. Same sensor? Probably. Great for Panasonic...a freaking triumph if you ask me.
I love your review of the S5 for photography, I had it 3 weeks ago, I upgraded for a Canon T6 to the Lumix S5 and it is a big upgrade, I am amazed at the quality that S5 have. Can you make a video of picture profile settings for still images on the S5?
Hey José! That's awesome - glad you're enjoying it as much as I am! Yeah definitely - although for my still images I shoot in RAW, so the picture profiles don't really account for much. I just shoot in standard and then edit the raw file in Lightroom. BUT, it would be interesting to make a video about the internal picture profiles and maybe compare the looks... You've given me an idea!
Hi Josh I'm it interested In the S5 and like your photograph review it's hard to find one on the S5 I have some Nikon lenses do you know if there's a adaptor with fulltime autofocus please thanks for your video advice.
Hi Philip, thanks for the kind words - I haven't had the chance to test any Nikon glass on the S5 yet, but I'll try and get my hands on some with an adapter in the near future to make this vid for you :)
I own both Nikon D750 and S5. You’ll almost never find any Nikon mount adapter for any camera that would have electronic control (autofocus or aperture control). I do use a dummy adapter to use nikon glass with my S5. I think Nikon doesn’t share its tech therefore you’ll never find a nikon adapter only the dummy ones.
I read an article comparing cameras in this price range with regards to dynamic range and iso to noise. I believe in most of the scenarios(like 9/10) the s5 was superior. This goes for the s1 as well. Needless to say on top of all the features this has stills wise, I'm extremely satisfied with my s5. Just arrived yesterday!
Hey! Yeah the S5 has been getting some great results in terms of its dynamic range! Glad you're happy with yours; so am I! Shocked that there's not more people jumping on this camera !
Great video Josh.... Have you (or anyone in the comments) ever tried it for Live Music Photography? The obstacle being low light with a moving subject, I'd love to know how it handles!
[Question] - I’m planning on buying a Panasonic s5 for pro video and I would like to know if Samsung ssd would work for external recording? Official external recording for the camera is Atmos V…
Hey! Well, the Atomos V is completely different in that sense because it's not just a storage device; it also unlocks different features like RAW video recording etc. I'm not too sure if you can record externally onto an SSD with the S5 since I don't do it myself, but if you can then great! The Samsung SSD's are awesome, I use them for video editing so I have experience with them on that front - just not direct recording unfortunately.
I bought the S5 for photography - I shoot landscapes (came from a G9)... If I had a wish for it having used ther 47 mega pixel S1R for a few weeks I would have loved a few more megapixels with the S5.
I can get the want for the higher MP count for the landscape setting... only thing is that Panasonic were quite heavy in marketing this camera towards the videographers out there - and I think that’s why people sometimes “sleep” on the fact that it’s actually a very decent stills camera. The 24mp sensor gives a nice balance between resolution and versatility! BUT , it would be AWESOME if they made a camera of this form factor that was more geared towards photography and that had the higher resolution sensor!
Great video on the S5 & I'n glad soneone is talking about the photography side of this camera. How are you able to edit S5 RW2 raw files in Lightroom; as I just got the S5 & my Lightroon doesn't recognize this RW2 file?
Thank you! Really appreciate the kind feedback. The RW2 files are readable for me in LR and i've never had any compatibility/read issues. Maybe check that your copy of LR is up to date?
Just ordered this. i thought full frame was out of my price range.. i had only been looking at what canon and sony had to offer.. then i discovered both nikon and panasonic had a weather resistant IBIS body and kit lens for a very affordable price.. was blown away.. ultimately went with this over the Nikon as I saw some very unfavourable reviews of the kit lens with that.. whereas the 20-60mm looks pretty interesting!
Hi ! I'm Canon EOS M ( Mark I) user and I'm going to buy S5. I'm sure the AF performance will blow me up 😅 I was wondering, how AF working in photo mode . Now I'm using manual focus all the time and out of focus shots annoying me a lot. I need a hybrid camera , most for stills and I hope S5 is the right choice ✌👍😃 Nice Video by the way ! Cheers
Hey! Well, as you can see in this vid - the photo AF is absolutely brilliant - no issues there! I’ve actually just posted a video regarding the video AF too, and it’s not negative.... so if you have the time be sure to check that out too!
I'm tempted to going Panasonic or Nikon. I'm only a hobbyist, I shoot with Sony APSC and I want to migrate to other brand with full frame cameras. I use manual lenses. I shoot RAW but I like "easy to edit" files, accurate colors, good enough dynamic range, no artifacts, etc How do you think Nikon and Panasonic compares about photography output?
I use the Godox tt350o - It's small, not crazy powerful but more than adequate for the work I do :) Just make sure that you get the one that's compatible with Panasonic and Olympus, not sony etc
Purchased a S5ii for video... but have been delving into photography... I wanted to purchase a Flash / Speedlight for it and apparently there are delay (0.5 secs or similar) issues with flashes upon button action ... any advice in regards to that with Lumix s5 & S5ii - cheers :)) My wife does burlesque so trying to do more fashion stuff and everyone seems to use flashes.
Hey Josh, how would you say the S5 performs for sports photography (both day and night?) - I'm a running photographer and looking at either the A7iii or the S5.
The S5 performs okay at sports photography with a lot of frames being captured in focus, but please bare in mind that the S5 only has a max burst rate of 7fps so it's not blazingly quick. The sony has 10 fps, but the technology in that camera is now super old and sony won't really be updating the firmware for that camera now; it's pretty much a dead unit to invest in. The good thing with the S5 is that it's still quite new, and Panasonic are great at keeping their cameras up to date with the latest features for their users :)
Nice review, however the autofocus test wasnt really that difficult. Maybe someone running at you, and shooting burst mode, and checking the hit rate, would have really tested it. Great camera..my pick at present.
I use this camera for photography more than film. I am wondering though; given the lag present at night whilst "Constant Preview" is turned on at night; would it be worth using an external monitor like a Ninja or Blackmagic? I do a lot of Astro Time lapse and am not sure wether it would be worth the price. What is your opinion on the matter?
I like this camera a lot especially at that price.. my concerns are just about wild animal photography and sports photography.. i think especially at fast movements this camera will struggle
Hello friend, i have problem with my s5ii i cannot upload an rw2 file in lightroom, it keeps saying that the file is not supported, bud here i see You have it okay
Adobe still haven't released an update for LR that allows the S5ii RAWs to be read. It's just a waiting game at this point unfortunately, and it's super annoying!
Hi Josh , I see you are an expert on s5 which is great!! I wonder why when i shoot photos in RAW they look well exposed in camera but after when i open them in my computer in photoshop or lightroom they are all underexpose? I see on internet a lot of people asking the same but I havent find any solution. I hope you know. :)
High res mode hits the diffraction limit at about f5.6, so if you don't have a super sharp lens that can resolve that resolution before f5.6 you aren't gonna see much difference, and of course everything must be perfectly still.
@@joshdiditt The lens needs to be set at f4 or below for ideal performance with diffraction, and the sigma isn't as sharp as say a prime like the zeiss otus, this is an extremely demanding mode but as long as you set your motion blur compensation mode correctly and have a decent lens the difference is pretty big especially when you zoom in 4-6x times. If you used mode 2 that compensates more aggresively and only uses 2 shots instead of 4, and also the camera spits out a 24mp file and a 96mp file, so you might want to make sure you are checking the correct one. And again, the object have to be absolutely still.
Photographer's dream, eh? I would be happy to buy a camera that doesn't do 8K, 4K or even 0K. I don't do or care about video! :) I just wish they'd preserved the top-panel status display! I've spent so many years relying on that top view, and love having it on my G9. I don't want the S1's size and weight. Panasonic, can ya please make an S5.1 and put that thing back where it belongs? :) :)
Ah see! This is something we don't agree on - I didn't really care for the Top LCD; never found myself using it! But I can understand why people love it so much!
Enjoyed your video so much!!! I Have a Sony 7 R and it is time to upgrade. I am so confused as to what to buy. I own a Nikon D800 and 3 good 2.8 lenses . I have some good lenses foe my Sony too. But Nikon set too heavy. My 7R needs retirement. I like to take picture for pleasure...so I don't really need 100 megapixels or 45 in that manner. This set up I have it in the cart at B and H and still have not pulled the trigger. Your review was awesome. Even the video sounds good , although I will be shooting very little. Your advise!!!!!
Hey George! Thanks for your comment and the lovely words. Really happy you enjoyed this video. Honestly, if you're looking for a good price to performance ratio and still want to stay in the full frame space, then I'd highly recommend the S5 for photography. Great low light, fantastic ergonomics and a joy to use. It's also very lightweight and would be great for general walk about photography !
Personally i feel like its still very good for 2024 especially for photography. Colors out of camera destroy Sony. Its my top 3 regarding colors (Fuji, Canon, Panasonic).
It's absolutely fine. It's bright enough and although it's not as high resolution as some other cameras out there, it's definitely big and sharp enough to compose your shots! I have no complaints really!
I own the s5ii and my original Sony A7r3 and just sold my a7s3 and no the autofocus is nowhere near as good as Sony's. Also the Sony colors with the A7s3 , a1, a7iv, a7r5 etc don't have any weird cast like their r3/3 and prior. The Panasonic is brilliant though.
Damn that flappy screen. This camera would be perfect if it didn’t have it. Why do all you tubers think we want the flippy screen? It’s slow, conspicuous and obtrusive and its literally just for vlogging, nothing else. The tilt is so much faster and perfect for documentary photography.
i love the video but if the video is about photography try to show us more about the experience with the camera more than talking about it, other than your videos are really good.
Did you just say for me or someone else to spend REAL money, yet 'push the AF issue to the side'???Panasonic themselves market this camera and designed it for video more than stills,so that in itself makes no logical sense. The rest, like stats for getting shots, etc,is your opinion. Also,I dont shoot Sony right now,yet I have heard the misleading, the midirection, and the lies about Sony overheating color science, and menus.Point being,I do want the S5,yet they are seriously back in the Stone Ages when it comes to AF.All the great IBIS,great build,FF,DR,is all for naught,if the AF pulsates, which it DOES.That is not subjective, and anyone and everyone can FIND subjective things to say about cameras they decided not to use.I will wait for Panasonic to stop playing games and for the shooters to stop making excuses for them...

I upgraded to the S5 from crop sensor for landscape and to start in some video. Definitely a good decision!
Thank you
Hello Fabio! Thank you for your kind words! really happy you like my videos.
Yes of course, I can make a video along these lines in the future!
Hi, great video i have sony a6400 and i want tjis Panasonic s5 for the price 1500$ but im worry the af and sharpness. How good its af?bfor portrait And has eye focus
Hi…would it be a good option for wedding photography? Thanks for you video
i just ordered this camera and so happy to find this video…i do not care about how it records video because honestly i have my iphone 13 pro to film video…i wanted a camera for still shots that works well in lowlight so you absolutely answered my question on that
You're gonna love it for that use case. It's such an underrated stills camera and I can guarantee you'll be blown away :)
True! I use it 50/50 photo/video. S5 replaced nikon d750 (photo) and gh5 (video). One camera for everything!
Love that! It’s ultimately the perfect camera for me - glad it’s serving you well!
@@JoshCameron I plan to make some videos about s5 on my channel. One is already there.
Nice! I’ll check it out!
I’ve just bought a S5 with the kit lens and a Lumix 50mm 1.8 lens. I generally use it with my 02 x BMPCC4K cams. I do photography with my Nikon D750 cams and in 02 minds to completely switch to lumix S5 as I am not sure about its overall performance when it comes to photography. Hows the autofocus performance when it comes to photography and what are you’re overall thoughts on switching to the S5 for photography. TIA

Great video and yes you’re right it’s fantastic for photos. I have the S1 and I wish I knew the S5 would exist it’s so small and powerful.
Thank you! Yeah I was so tempted by the S1 but ended up getting this one since it’s lighter and would be better on a gimbal etc. I am thinking about getting an S1 too though!
Awesome review, thank you!
Great video!! I can't wait to get mine
I’ve just grabbed this camera for photography. What are the best in camera settings for this as the menu is a little overwhelming. Thanks
nice watch
Thanks Patrick! Really appreciate you taking the time to watch 👍🏻
Hay Josh, I almost watch every video of yours and Luca Bono, as a wedding photographer, I almost dropped the idea of buying s5, However, this video has inspired me again to think of buying it. My next option was Fujifilm XT4.
Thanks Man.
Hey buddy, glad I’m managing to change your mind. The S5 is a solid option for both photo and stills, far outweighing a lot of the competition 🙌🏼
@@JoshCameron I loved your video on 24mm kens, Thank you
This really does seem like an amazing camera. If I ever leave my GH5, this s5 might be the one.

Thanks for the content Josh! May I know what is your typical photo settings?
Thank you for watching! Typically I shoot in RAW 3:2. I rarely go above F4 and stay around that range :)
Hello good video why you dont see you photo settings ? Please one photo setting tutorial

What are your autofocus settings for photography for the s5 mk1?
Other than not focusing, I love love this camera. Lense are few and expensive, though.
Simply well done. Thank you for your time.
Thanks for watching Ed! Glad you enjoyed it :D
Panasonic is doing a wonderful job
I read an article comparing cameras in this price range with regards to dynamic range and iso to noise. I believe in most of the scenarios(like 9/10) the s5 was superior. This goes for the s1 as well. Needless to say on top of all the features this has stills wise, I'm extremely satisfied with my s5. Just arrived yesterday!
Hey! Yeah the S5 has been getting some great results in terms of its dynamic range! Glad you're happy with yours; so am I! Shocked that there's not more people jumping on this camera !
Where's this article
Great video buddy! 👍
How did you get to edit the raw files ?
Thanks dude! I edit them in LR :)
I thought you just got the fuji xt3 but theres no more videos from you about it
I bought the S5 for photography - I shoot landscapes (came from a G9)...
@@JoshCameron Great informative video...So I am dying to know what is your opinion of the high-resolution mode 48 and 96 megapixel pixel
Hi Josh! Would you make a video about your photo processing workflow and color grading in Lightroom? I really like your color taste! Big fan :)
Just ordered this. i thought full frame was out of my price range.. i had only been looking at what canon and sony had to offer.. then i discovered both nikon and panasonic had a weather resistant IBIS body and kit lens for a very affordable price.. was blown away.. ultimately went with this over the Nikon as I saw some very unfavourable reviews of the kit lens with that.. whereas the 20-60mm looks pretty interesting!
what about skin tones? does it match canon? b/c everyone say Canon is the best.
What lenses are you using for photography
I'm tempted to going Panasonic or Nikon. I'm only a hobbyist, I shoot with Sony APSC and I want to migrate to other brand with full frame cameras. I use manual lenses. I shoot RAW but I like "easy to edit" files, accurate colors, good enough dynamic range, no artifacts, etc
How do you think Nikon and Panasonic compares about photography output?
What studio flash system do you use? Or which can be used with this camera. Will normal flash triggers work with the hotshoe there? Thanks
I use the Godox tt350o - It's small, not crazy powerful but more than adequate for the work I do :) Just make sure that you get the one that's compatible with Panasonic and Olympus, not sony etc
@@JoshCameron thank you!!
I am torn between this camera and the S1 partly due to the fact the S5 does not have a PC sync which is quite convenient for my flash guns.
Ahhh, tough decision! Both are amazing so you'll be happy either way :D
Very helpful, thank you
were you shooting JPG only or RAW for that burst rate sequence of the guy with the lathe? Seems pretty high! :D
I was shooting raw!
I purchased your Lightroom Preset pack - that's what got me into Photography :))

How do I get the screen abs VF to stop getting darker when I’m trying to focus?
Hey Josh, how would you say the S5 performs for sports photography (both day and night?) - I'm a running photographer and looking at either the A7iii or the S5.
The S5 performs okay at sports photography with a lot of frames being captured in focus, but please bare in mind that the S5 only has a max burst rate of 7fps so it's not blazingly quick. The sony has 10 fps, but the technology in that camera is now super old and sony won't really be updating the firmware for that camera now; it's pretty much a dead unit to invest in.
The good thing with the S5 is that it's still quite new, and Panasonic are great at keeping their cameras up to date with the latest features for their users :)
best photo settings for lumix s5?
Nice review, however the autofocus test wasnt really that difficult. Maybe someone running at you, and shooting burst mode, and checking the hit rate, would have really tested it. Great camera..my pick at present.
Thanks for the feedback John, maybe in the future i'll make a video like this :)
What's it like using the MC-21 adapter for photos?
It’s okay, not as snappy, but definitely useable!
I use this camera for photography more than film. I am wondering though; given the lag present at night whilst "Constant Preview" is turned on at night; would it be worth using an external monitor like a Ninja or Blackmagic? I do a lot of Astro Time lapse and am not sure wether it would be worth the price. What is your opinion on the matter?
how better or on what level is Lumix s5 with canon eosr and sonya7iii
The Lumix S5 is far more advanced than both of those cameras, especially for video :)
what program do you edit with?
Would you recommend this camera as an upgrade to the GH5? I’m mostly shooting low light video and stills. Small nightclubs, music festivals etc.
Yeah 100%, you’ll see a huge improvement in the quality with the S5. That sensor can let it so much more light and has much better dynamic range :)
That's normal, what you see it's jpg version of your Raw. Once you transfer your photos into Lightroom, the software show the Raw photo ( unprocessed)
what are your autofocus settings for photography?
Hey Colin! I use Set 1 in the AF Custom Setting(Photo) menu. It's the one that the S5 comes set on out of factory and i've found it to be just fine :)
What lens u use with this camera oftenly?
I’m always using the 24-105 f4. It’s a really well-rounded lens and suits most of my needs quite well!
@@JoshCameron u never use 20 60 ?
I don’t own the 20-60! I bought the S5 as body only and got the 24-105 separately :)
@@JoshCameron wait for ur video review on s5 bro... seriously , indonesia waiting now🙏
Panasonic is simply the best
It really is 🙌🏼
I find the High Res mode barely is different from the regular photos. What do you think?
High res mode hits the diffraction limit at about f5.6, so if you don't have a super sharp lens that can resolve that resolution before f5.6 you aren't gonna see much difference, and of course everything must be perfectly still.
I can make a video on this if you'd like? Would be interesting to put under the microscope!
@@JoshCameron Yes. I used my Sigma 24-70 2.8 and I barely saw any difference. I had both shots on a tripod
@@imabigsandwich1292 Yes. I used a 24-70 Sigma Art lens with it on tripod. Shot both photos at F4 and didn't see much of a difference.
Excellent review . Appreciate
Thanks Louis!
Hi Josh! Do you know if the S5 has Focus Transition like the GH5? I have no GH5, but I am deciding between the GH5ii and the S5. Thanks in advance!
Hi! Unfortunately I don't think the S5 has this feature - not from what I can see anyways...
@@JoshCameron ok thanks!
@@JoshCameron Thank yo so much for taking the time to reply!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!!
Personally i feel like its still very good for 2024 especially for photography. Colors out of camera destroy Sony. Its my top 3 regarding colors (Fuji, Canon, Panasonic).
Awesome video 👍👍😌
Thanks buddy!
How is the EVF?
It's absolutely fine. It's bright enough and although it's not as high resolution as some other cameras out there, it's definitely big and sharp enough to compose your shots! I have no complaints really!
I own the s5ii and my original Sony A7r3 and just sold my a7s3 and no the autofocus is nowhere near as good as Sony's. Also the Sony colors with the A7s3 , a1, a7iv, a7r5 etc don't have any weird cast like their r3/3 and prior. The Panasonic is brilliant though.
The L Mount lenses are expensive ain't it and is there room for adaptors?
Yeah there are adapters available - like the Sigma MC-21 that allows you to use EF glass on L Mount bodies :)
Well said!
Thanks, Steve!

Great info just slow down
uaaahahahahahaha photographers dream without normal and fast caf ))))))))))))))) only 3 frames from 10 is sharp

If you are only getting 3 sharp frames out of 10 with this camera, there is likely something wrong with the software behind the viewfinder.
