There is 2 different types of lift gates tucked under and rail type can the rail type work when backing up to Amazon docks or post office
I've seen people have to let it down at amazon. It looks awkward. This is why they ask for tuck under. But some folk make it work.
The name of the game is specialization. Dry van haulers whether 53 ft or box trucks are a dime a dozen. No negotiating power whatsoever right now. Get at least a Class B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement. You need to stand out from the crowd.
Not sure what brokers you’ve been talking too, but I always get more than what’s posted or I don’t take the load. Period. But specialty freight helps for sure.✌🏾

The emissions BS is the biggest expense and or maintenance for truck to be running, u don't have to be expert, but expect delays n having money on side for fix

Anything over 26 ft and 26k gross vehicle weight will require a cdl. ✌🏾

I think I like my freightliner better typically more available parts when needed vs International.

The market is bad bro. No question about it. Amazon is trash. Dat is trash. They have caught on to the partials and are stating partials as 21 ft 8600 pounds. This is not a partial but they trying to pass it as such. Market is bad. We all making it work but I wouldn’t recommend renters or financed people to get in unless they driving themselves and not hiring as those people are messing the market up more
Amazon loads are super trash.they only be paying like $1 a mile (53 footer)
