I'm having an issue with the strut hitting the front lower control arm. Strut fits without spacer but not with. Any idea on what I can do or any strut replacement I can use for it to work?
On a 1995 Oklahoma highway patrol crown Vic I had LT 235 75 15 mud terrain and never put a lift kit never had to it got around great in northern Missouri winner
I got a 03 lincoln town car what do i need to lift it i still have bags in the back goin to replace them with shocks and struts
nice video. when you did the rear shock where did you jack up the axle? if so where did you jack up the axle to take out the old shock and put the new one in? doing my crown vic today would appreciate any help. thanks
You can jack up the rearend anywhere as long as you don’t jack up on the sway bar if you don’t know how to jack up a car leave it alone so you don’t kill your self
I’ve done the same exact thing to 3 of mi Vics. I lifted mi first one back in 2009. 5 inch lift with 24 inch rims. Once I moved up north to Maine I simple switched to mid tires. All of them have lift kits and 31 inch tires on em

I havent lifted mine yet but was runnin 265/75s on it. Hot 255/75 bf goodrich k02s on it now and i get lots of compliments.

Hey brother what year is this? Do you think the lift kit is compatible with a 2002 mercury grand marquis?
The rear cup will fit on the that year model but the cup for the front want but you don’t need cups for this your model car you can simply order a suspension kit where you can by 4 extended spring 2 for the front and 2 for the back

@@JamesMoVlogs my 3 inch lift hates my sway bar links, and the links then hate my ABS sensors ha ha. I'm gonna have to just take the lift kit off sadly and hope the 18 inch rims allow enough ground clearance so my tailpipes don't scrape the driveway since mine is steep at a close 45 degree angle.
Sway bar gone adds to more oversteer, get super titanium tubular for sway be gone. Trend, trends, trending with smoothing well flairs for cooler super off-road drifting. Four oh yeahs and a yatta-boys.

We had to cut another 2 inches off know it all
At least they should have done an accurate job of measuring marking then cutting.

sorry but no. i did my 2010 crown victoria police interceptor k9 unit the right way...step 1 was i did it INSIDE IN A SHOP. The sawzall job looks HORRIBLE and hickish

@JamesMoVlogs yeah, it's a crown victoria, not an 83 Chevy rusted out 4X4. that's what you hack apart with a Sawzall. A crown victoria is above that. at least do it under a roof and make it look semi professional.
