The tree of life on the witch’s hat is AWESOME as is the leaf plate! And your husband did a nice job glazing 😊 Tetris on steroids is a great way to describe loading a bisque kiln.
love the kiln opening...yeesh on the black widow...i actually just had my husband kill a spider for me...hahaha...one of my sheds seems to be black widow central...love the colors on the leaf...working tonight so will miss you and sharon...have fun
AKKKK......A Black Widow spider....I'd be nervous too! Sorry to hear that you have to have more surgery, hope it doesn't keep you down for too long, your studio will be very empty without all that you have going on! You are so much of an inspiration to me, I have made so many ghosts, trees, gnomes, a garden totem, and most recently a witches hat and some angles in memory of my mama who just passed. Thank you for all your videos. Sending speedy recovery vibes from Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Oh, and glad to hear your hubby is doing well!
So sorry to hear about your ongoing knee issues. I hope everything goes superwell for you. I wish I had some advice to help but all I can say is be gentle with yourself. Your work is amazing and I have a market in Dec, Id love to see your video on these tips set ups etc. Thank you 💜💜💜💜💜
Beautiful pieces. The witch hats are awesome. The seahorses are adorable. Your hubby did such a good job on those. The lil gohsts so cute. Thanks for sharing this kiln opening. And yes, glazing takes a lot of time. I sometimes think, lets glaze a quick one..... no way...... the piece has been 2 hours under the brush 😅
Hi. Love this kiln opening. The tree of life witch's hat is amazing. The leaf bowl ... wow! I love the seahorses. Well done to your husband. My husband is here atm, and he said, "Isn't she supposed to be in hospital or something?" He listens and watches more than he says 😅 Spiders 🙀 We get red backs here & snakes. I'm terrified of both. Anyway, I've rambled enough. Take care 🙂
Another good video, love the ghost hands, were lucky in the UK, no scary spiders except when they occasionally come in on bananas and other fruit and veg. Stay safe, she's eating lunch lucky for you
Your hats are amazing! And the leaf-Wow! Every one of your videos inspires me to try something else. I also love the horse hair idea. What a thoughtful thing to do. I wish you well on your surgery.
I'm so interested in seeing the horse hair pot results -- I love doing horse hair but have always been told it doesn't work if the clay is vitrified which limits the pots use. I am going to try a vitrified pot because this will really be a changer for me if I can get good results. Wishing you a successful surgery and complete recovery.
I love spiders, they are so misunderstood! (except the one with the red hour-glass, that one I have never seen and hope never to) like you have and BE CAREFUL...what YOU DONT NEED is to get bitten by her. You've had enough of feet/leg issues for a lifetime! I have a cricket or two, or three, in my basement studio have yet to really see them/him/her, but the music they make makes me happy! so its going to be "Hobble and Hoppe" on Saturday??? LOL
Love Hoppe and Hobble together! Sharon will get a kick out of that too. Charlotte has been sent down to the underworld where she can cause havoc. Hubby dispatched her with glee. He loves being called in to perform those duties. Lol.
Sooo, did you bring the spider on yourself by putting them on your pots??? LOL, just kidding, of course. Great load, as usual. I love the witches' hats. And that leaf turned out fabulous! Mike did a great job on the seahorses. Are they for the kids' bathroom? I unloaded this morning, with mostly good results. There were a couple that didn't turn out, but, progress overall. And learning! I'm looking forward to your collaboration, and wish you well on the surgery.
I'm curious as to if NightCraftCo has done the horsehair pottery on vitrified pieces before. I do Raku, and my understanding is, the clay being fired to cone 5/6 can not withstand the thermal shock of the Raku, and in addition the clay being vitrified, will not "take" the horsehair carbon burn. The carbon in the horsehair needs something porous to adhere to. If she has done it in the pasts and been successful, I would love to know - Beautiful Kiln load once again.
The leaf plate is beautiful, what type of form did you use to make it or did you free hand the leaf? Really nice and the color is so pretty. As always great work! 😊
Sorry about your knee, but since I’ve watched some of your later openings, I know you’re feeling better, so that’s great. I live in Minnesota and it’s quite cold here . I was wondering if you have to take the bird houses in in the winter. If so, do you clean out the old nests? If so, how?
@jeanmartin6410 No one has moved into my birdhouses. They are mostly decorative. I do take them inside since I don't want them filling with snow and ice. But I don't usually remember until after a big snow storm.
You're a brave lady........I'd be up and running and packing up and moving I just can't do spiders like that where they can kill you.....sorry no thanks
Praying for a safe successful knee surgery. I think we would all love a video of you sitting in a wheelchair bossing your students around. Get creative it could be funny and helpful. I could also take your mind off your knee. Just a day in the life of a Hobbled Potter video…

I don't do snakes! Growing up in Alaska, no snakes or poisonous spiders. I take bears over the creepy crawlies.
Thank you for sharing all you do. I love this! Made one to sell and making one now for my daughter's birthday!
I love the leaf and the ghost!
Soooo many Lovely Pieces!!
I especially love leaves and that one is such a Beauty!! 🍁

Thank you and I'll report back on the results when she does it.
Loved everything. Amazing potters. You are brave to stay there a film. It would have been instant shut down. Kill spider
Lol, it was hard!
Wow for the Leaf!
I love it!

ohhhhh ohhhh when are we making those leaf plates???? x

Oh yes - loading a bisque firing is a lottt of thinking/puzzles. Wears me out lol
Great unloading ❤
Leaf plate is amasing👌💪yours work is verry beautiful hello from Slovenija Europa
Wow! Hello back. Sooo cool how we're bringing the world closer with clay. 😀
Yesss😘
The leaf is absolutely beautiful! Is that Amaco Oribe? If so, the speckled buff clay really changes how that glaze looks! Love it!
It's Clayscapes Oribe. Amazing results.

This is her first time doing it this way based on advice from another potter who does horsehair Raku. It's going to be interesting.
The leaf plate is beautiful, what type of form did you use to make it or did you free hand the leaf? Really nice and the color is so pretty. As always great work! 😊
It's a leaf form that I found years ago. Keep your eye out for interesting shapes for molds.
Please list glazes used on leaf. I love it. Also, I bet you are stunning as a total blondie😊
It was boring as a total blonde. I used clayscapes oribe and Mayco cinnabar.
Bonsoir ces très jolie ce que vous avez fait magnifique tous passe une bonne soirée car ici il et 20h du soir je vous fais des gros bisous
I would get the sticky insect traps, and tuck them in the dark spaces on the floor. Be careful with that spider! 😬
Hubby had a blast coming in and saving the day!
Moc krásné...ty klobouky jsou úžasné 😮😮🙊🙊🙊
Super interested In the leaf platter. Do you have a tutorial on that?
I don't. It was a slab in a slump form that I'd found.
Sorry about your knee, but since I’ve watched some of your later openings, I know you’re feeling better, so that’s great. I live in Minnesota and it’s quite cold here . I was wondering if you have to take the bird houses in in the winter. If so, do you clean out the old nests? If so, how?

@@hobblecreekpottery thank you!
Wow multicolore hat!
What form/mold/shape did you use for that GORGEOUS leaf platter? A real leaf or a pattern?
It's a leaf bowl that I found. Look around at garage sales and thrift shops for fun shapes.
Hello, would you consider doing a silk screen at some time in the future?
It's high on my list.
I have caught and released 4 widow spiders so far.
Yikes! You are brave.
Do you have a tutorial on how to make the mushrooms?
Not the small ones on the witch hat but others, yes. These are easy. A coil stem and a hat.
How did you get the shape/texture on the beautiful seahorses? 🥰
I have a video on how to make them. It was last month.
@@hobblecreekpottery thanks so much. I must have missed it. I'll check it out 😊
Where did she buy the skeleton hand silk screens?
Maker's Mart I think?
Hows your hubby?
The Mri?
The infection?
Hats are great, I feel for you hate spiders I don't mind snakes rats mice but hate spiders
I respect them as long as they respect my space. Lol, this one had to go. Too close.
You're a brave lady........I'd be up and running and packing up and moving I just can't do spiders like that where they can kill you.....sorry no thanks
I was really sweating it. Woo!
@@hobblecreekpottery I don't blame you are you getting your hubby or sons to remove it
And yes your pieces were stellar again....have a great week.
