I have almost every lebron signature shoe and I really feel from the bottom of my heart, that the 1-3 are the best shoes he ever put out. Between looks, comfort, build, and materials, they are incredibly. I’m not sure why they went away from that formula but I’d they didn’t, he’d have the best line in basketball history

@@mingomane1 Why does the Bron 3’s Retro hurt my feet so much when I wore them (esp in the achilles part)? I loved the 16s and 17s. The 11s were great except the toecap hits my foot, and the 15 lows were so cool even though the cushion setup is lowkey.
Ive got em 1-3 also, after those I stopped buying Lebron’s.

I was fortunate to have had the 1-3 growing up. I played ball in them. I absolutely LOVED the 2. I felt like I was invincible in those tanks.

not sure how the retros are but these were one of the most comfortable ball shoes ever (once broken in). Never played in these on a good court but i know that they dont bite well on dusty floors lol

My favorite Lebron and one of my favorite hoop shoes of all time. I played in the grey and blue ones for the longest time and they can’t be beat. Solid solid offering 👌🏼
Those are one of my all-time favorite Nike Lebron basketball shoes. I have the OG Lebron 2 All-star (Cool Grey & Royal Blue) and the OG Lebron 2 Olympics (White and Navy Blue). The earlier Nike Lebron sneaker models (1,2,3,4,5,6,11) were awesome compared to the current models with durability issues.

I still got deadstock the grey pair which is the All Star Game version of the 2s! The best colourway of this model by far!

Wanted these for the basketball team, but they were right outside the range my parents were willing to spend so I “settled” for the 20-5-5’s which were a better fit for me and my play style…until somebody stole them (i tested into a prep school and i thought i left this kinda stuff back in the hood), then i wore my too small 2k4’s from 8th gd with no insole and laced very loosely. I burst through the seams after 2 games. A kid who wore my size was academically ineligible, and just left the school, so i was able to wear his, and i must say his Michael Vick shoes do basketball! Sorry for my auto bio you didn’t ask for.

The Nike Sphere was the technology used in shoes of that era, including the Melo 5.5's I had back in high school. They also had Nike sphere in Backpacks!
My first ever signature basketball shoe purchase! Had the USA colorway back then ad wore for a solid 5+ years. Would definitely buy again if other colorways starts showing up.
The outsole on these really reminds me of the Jordan 19s! Cushion setup too 👀

I had an OG pair in the grey/blue colorway…one of the best performing basketball shoes I ever had. Phenomenal for bigger guys who need support and cushioning but don’t want to feel like you’re wearing a brick
said original pair that is gray and blue is my wife's favorite pair of basketball shoes of all time. Some kid threw up on them in high school and she eventually threw them out. I went out of my way to try to find a pair in 5Y, took me about a year of searching to find it. But the whole thing was, while in tact, was coming apart (emblems falling off, midsole separation, despite our efforts to gluing it back together etc.). I'm glad Nike finally retro'd these, but I REALLY hope they bring back the smaller sizes too! PLEASE NIKE!
The lebron 2, 3, 9, and 20 are some of my favorites to wear. Lebrons are great to play in, but most models i dont like wearing if im not playing
I like how the laser printing under the straps was a call back to Lebron's taped up tattoos during that nationally televised SVSM game. Most of the world first laid eyes on lebron from that footage, with white athletic tape all over his arms.

The 2s and the 3s are still my favorite Lebrons. I only got the OG black and red ones back in the day. Managed to get a pair of the white and blue ones a few years back and I'll definitely be getting these!

They put Nike sphere lining in the AZG. I had the wheat AZG, and they work really well as cushion around your ankle & sweat absorption.
I had all 3 cw in high school.. some of the best shoes I've ever played in. Shoutout to Maria for copping these for me with no job.

I had the blue/white ones back then. I liked them but I wouldn’t buy them again. They look good with flared jeans from the early 2000s (that now came back) but wouldn’t look good with skinnys which I stick to lol
I actually had the grey and blue they were great, super comfortable the only bad part was that I was a kid so y used them every day until there was no more shoe. Probably going to get that color way again.

How's the sizing bro? LeBrons usually fit me a half size small, I wear sz 11 on Jordan retroes.

If I didn’t wear I’d go for 11.5 (I’m size 11 in general and wear 11/11.5 in Jordan retros)
The ones he had in his first all star game was the ones I liked......the blue and grey joints
I had the originals. Red, white n blue. I hooped 3-4 nights a week in those beauties, indoors and outdoors. I also bought the re-released 3s about 5yrs ago and I gotta say I think the 2s are a little more comfortable and perform better while hoopin... but its so close. Those 2s held up through a lot of abuse. Eventually the sole started coming off and making a flip flop noise when I ran. Those shoes were so dang comfortable I refused to let them die by duck taping the soles on. I think in 2017 I finally retired them. Nice review btw. I need to get me another pair.

I just ordered these LeBron 2 "Macabi" off of G.o.a.t and same with the LeBron 3 "Shop" for under retail but after he breaks the scoring record and retires the prices are going to be astronomical so i advise people to cop everything LeBron rite now while they're affordable and 1-3 and the new 20's are the best ones in his line I gotta cop a Zoom Generation and a 20 next.
His first and second are my faves the low ones and these in the OG colorways are sick!

actually dri-fit was before sphere with sphere being more a way to "circulate" air around you to keep you dry it used a dri-fit material though.
This is the last shoe i played serious ball in and the cushioning is A1...and they look good with boot cut jeans lol

I bought these for cheap not knowing what I was getting back in the day, a full size too small, and still some of the best basketball shoes I ever had, even though they tore up my toes lol. These and the KD 2’s, my favorites ever.

Just got the USA Colorway, Instead of J2 Chicago that Lebron 2 is what I bought. I cant afford that shoe when it was first release back in 04, so glad that Nike Retro it.
these were my favorite hoop shoes when I was in college. lock down was great, cushion was great, and traction was one of the best during its time. bought too many indoor hoop shoes lately or I would definitely pick these up. my original were the black/red pair, I played until one of the shoe's zoom blew up and I goodwilled it.

I believe these were supposed to mimic a bulletproof vest.
I have the OG SVSM Lebron 2 and the sock liner is so much more plush than the retro...it's my favorite feature...so comfortable.

I’ve never owned the 2s but always thought they were like a fulll length large volume zoom unit. Good to know they were actually two units! One of my favorite sneakers of all time to ball in, Nike hoops shoes went to a different level in the early 2000s. Love them, but I’m irritated by the price hike.
My nephews funk made the jubilee 11s I let him hold unbearable.. the spray has helped me reclaimed its glory
Lebron 3s are a shoe that you can go to war in. Tech is there, comfort is there, and these get better the more you play in them. They are a little bulky but great ankle protection and they are straight up tanks. Like you said taking off the strap reminds me of the Jordan 20 with the symbols to give you a little history even though these are just lazor print. The lining is the feature that what impressed me.
Went through two pairs of Lebron 3 back in 2005 college days. Only complaint was the round laces came undone easily , and the metal lacing system broke off on one pair and cut my shoe laces on the other. Other than that they were amazing hoop shoes. Mine were in the navy and white duke color way which matched our college colors
I remember having the black and red ones the usa and the gray and blue ones but I wore a kid size back then and on the kids shoe you couldn't take the strap off and I hated that, I'm bout to feed the little kid in me lol

Respectfully these do look like Kobe’s which is why I purchased them. I’ve purchased many LeBron’s btw. Nothing wrong at all with them being very similar to Kobe’s. I just hate people acting like this is the most innovative shoe when Kobe has already done this before… but again I say I’m happy he went this route. They remind me of the Kobe V, and the X’s. But end of the day I’m happy asf with them!

I commented on the Dub-Zero video that these are the best LBJ’s imo. Now, if you were in the Bay Area this came out right at the start of peak streetwear and boutique store releases. I remember the entire campaign and the SF AF1 released here and LeBron coming to our Niketown. Those that were there know about the fight the fight that broke out. It was the good old days.

It 100% looks like a Kobe! Can't deny it. I also have had multiple LaBrons. I have the 20's and also have a pair of Kobe Grinch's and these are similar.
I have the Lebron 3 retros. They are super comfortable. But man they cut into my achilles bad. I will say that Nike really takes the time to make sure these are built well. You get the 3s in hand and you quickly find out why they dont make shoes like that anymore

I got these on sale in France for 90 Euros they were 150 I got the all star colorway the grey ones they have ballistic mesh nike sphere the OG ones back in 2005 or june 2004

Still have the originals which I brought from eBay in 2004 for £35. The crimson/black and they’re still holding up well. If the crimson retro I will be copping but just not keep on this colour.
