ALL stand alone LG Dryers open to the right and all their stand alone washers open to the left; not just this model. Neither have options to change the door opening direction. It's really meant to be side by side; if you want to stack, it's best to get their wash tower.
@@djb1164 Downloading the LG ThinQ app is optional, as is connecting the dryer to the internet. If you do connect it and download the app though, you will enjoy a far richer feature set from the software updates LG has released, as well as far greater customization options being available exclusively through the app.
Easily pulls out and opens up. Two pieces, larger taco shell form, and small rounded piece at bottom that helps lint trap keep screen from being damaged.
The drum is not balancing itself in the dryer. There is no dryer on earth that does that, it is sensing the load by moving it back and forth and then decide how long it's going to dry. Washer may do that, but the dryer does not . I have a Miele heat pump dryer. The door is designed that way if they're next to each other side-by-side as opposed to being stacked most dryers come that way. If you don't like that, you should be able to reverse the door.

Hey. I'd like to see a default normal cycle.
This is the only cycle I use. Normal and “More Dry”
Does the heat pump have smart sharing with the other washer?
@@demariow78 It looks like it does per a recent update, but I haven't tested the functionality of that feature yet.
Do you HAVE TO download an app to dry a load of clothes?

@@SteveWarren Thanks. Informative vid and reply. I appreciate it. Thinking all I need is a bag of clothespins. :)
I don’t see condenser clean mode?
There is a specific cycle for that. You can see it in the list when managing the cycle list in the LG ThinQ app.
@@tbone9405 That is an unlisted mode by default. You have to add it to the list via the app or manually select it via the app.
What about the lint screen care?

And even tells you the time
Dryer door can be reversed
