We have this dryer and it’s fantastic. Clothes come out perfectly dry every time. Her times are way off. It does take longer but not that much. Today a large batch of beach towels took about 90 minutes. Our whirlpool took about 75 minutes.
Do you have any information on the recommended ambient temperature for this dryer? My laundry room sometimes gets down into the high 50s, low 60s in the winter. Also, when the dryer is done, are the clothes slightly damp afterwards?
I have this unit for last 2 months…and it’s been a great experience. I have tried following types of laundry (1) regular weekly laundry that’s mix of clothes, towels (2) sheets +queen quilts (3) queen comforter Runtimes for (1) on an avg is 1hr 10min, consumes less than 1kwh unit, clothes come out completely dry. I haven’t felt any dampness. For both (2) and (3) the runtime was around 2hrs, consumed 1.1kwh, clothes required 5-10mins of air dry (I just spread them on a bed). The bedsheets are fine, but quilt and comforter will require more drying time. Today I tried 5 doormats (20x30 size) and behavior was similar to (1). I live in Folsom California and right now the temperature is above 90. I am yet to experience winter days, so can’t tell how will it perform 🙂. I hope it helped you.
Look up " Bens Appliances and Junk". He has a fantastic channel and reviewed this dryer 3 months ago. He said the best room temperature is 70 degrees, below 60 the drying time significantly increases. 🐾🐶🐕
One look at what is going on in Houston right now says to me do not go anywhere near anything electrical as relates to appliances unless very small and disposable. In the alternative stick with anything propane related that can be stored on site/premises

What would you say are the best selling/top rated heat pump dryers on the market right now?
Miele, LG, Bosch
I only ever run the dryer overnight so the time to dry is thankfully meaningless to me

She made absolutely no mention whether this dryer will need a 240-volt outlet
Good catch. It is indeed like all other vented fryers at 240 volts.
