Excellent review! Thank you.. We would like to point out that the workhorse comes with a 5-year warranty on parts. We will either replace the parts or replace the machine. These are durable machines and last a very long time. Buy with confidence.
@@gianniguallpa3777 I’ve had mine for the last couple years and I have had 0 issues with it! I wanted something to help be more efficient and that was one of my better investments I’ve made. I’m looking to upgrade to the 64 inch this summer since I’ll be doing more PPF work too
I've had mine for like a year now, I bought the 64" one since it was mainly for PPF and I think this video describes it perfect, they need a little tweaking here and there but deff get the job done as long as you are using the right settings and blades for the job. Also Just make sure you don't spam the cut button on the what ever software you use and clear your queue in (printer & scanners) before turning on your plotter lol @@gianniguallpa3777
I started my business 35 weeks ago been tinting over 7 years. When I started 7 years ago used a GraphTech. Now when I started my business I use one like the one your using It can be finicky but I love it. I like using the 36" roll on it but I have used 60" roll when 1st starting out.
this video is perfect!! my tint kept bunching up i havent been able to make one cut, you helped me realize its because i wasnt setting it correctly on the rollers! i have 36 inch tint and this exact machine, its literally had me in tears lol THANK YOU
I think a few of your concerns are just your inexperience working with plotters. the moving film left to right is a simple fix, you should line up your film roll with where it it feeds onto the plotter. a good move is to over feed with no Pinch rollers, then by hand and evenly roll back the film roll about 6 inches or so, that will level out and straighten up your feed. then you Pinch, and run....
Man as someone who uses a graphtec all the stuff you had issues with wouldn’t be there on a graphtec. Like profiles, longer roller area on right side, blade depth calibration etc. of course yours is still more than good enough to get the job done it just goes to show where that extra money goes.
Just made my whole 1st qtr order in 24" over 20" rolls thinking they were better for this plotter. I'm going to have to take a trip to Gainesville to visit Kevin Rogers to go see the Workhorse 2 and maybe sell this one if the 2 is better.
Been looking for a plotter thanks for the review, this one is currently out of stock till 1/25 but might be the move as a beginner purchase for my shop 🙌🏼
That plotter is just like the titan 3 I have lol they're probably the same and I paid a little more for it. Mine gives me a problem when cutting. In some areas cuts perfectly and other areas I gotta put my blade on it because it barely did something
What shape is your Teflon strip in? If you cut through the film a few times it’ll dig high & low spots into the strip and cause it to cut and not cut certain areas of film. I’ve replaced mine twice so fsr
Keep up the grind your my favorite RUclipsr to watch :) am trying to learn the best I. An from watch you thank you for all the free content you release really means a lot
For anyone who’s using plotter currently. So I see how he sets up the machine to cut the main part of the film and leave the thin layer uncut, how do you heat shrink the film if ur already peeling it off?
If your plotter has a Teflon strip that the blade cuts against then try replacing the Teflon. There's a good chance that the blade cut too deep on part of the Teflon and now the Teflon surface no longer has an even depth.
I hand cut specialty cars like older 80s cars and what not but for most newer cars I use a plotter to speed it up and can say graphtech is Wel worth the money luckily I didn’t have to pay for it- but can say it is super easy to switch between ppf and window film as well as keep the roll straight with those extra long grit rollers I’m able to save presets and can cut out multiple cars in under 5 min but like the video said their will always be tweaking you’ll have to do on some occasions but honestly the one in the video isn’t bad and if u know how to use it it can be a very fast way to cut out car while working on another
What good matt! hey what you use to download let say the video the i did livestreaming and want to take some part and edit i try VLC but i still cant get any video download
Hey man! Few good options. Record and stream at the same time so you have a local recording. Vid.ly is a good option if you didn’t record it or Restream saves recordings for 15 days so you can download them after
Great video. I just subscribed not to long ago and I don’t even tint windows LOL .but I want to learn bye tinting the Windows myself on my work truck. By watching this video it will take most of the stress out if you can sell me some pre-cut tint😁. Please let me know if this is possible and if so where can I reach you. Thank you.
It ranges from $85 to like $250ish and I didn’t have near enough time to go over all the ins and outs so I’ll make a follow up just for software and patterns

Why not just hand cut? Does the machine save you time?

100% right! I started on a Graphtec too and it was really crazy seeing all those little extra things you miss.
Where do you recommend getting the full rolls of film?
Very helpful as a SEMA attendee since 2009
Can you put a longer roller on it?
Why do you prefer a 36” roll versus a 40” roll if the plotter prefers a 40”?
Where can I get a machine to start and what do you recommend.

This was very HELPFUL thank you!!!!
Hii liked the vid got a question can a 50cm x 300cm cover a sedan windshield I mean the whole windshield? Thanks
Thank you!
My US cutter machine has the same menu “features”, but it does have full length rubber rollers😎
What US cutter machine do you use?
What software are you using to get the cuts thanks!!!

Where can I learn how to use it
You should try the workhorse 2 out next and compare them!!
What machine you suggest that doesn’t have some re adjustments to print window tint film. ? What’s the best ?
what software do you use of the automotive patterns ?
Question I've been asking myself for the last 2 years 😎🔥
Keep up the grind your my favorite RUclipsr to watch :) am trying to learn the best I. An from watch you thank you for all the free content you release really means a lot
I have my settings written on a paper and taped on the machine to avoid this problem of mistakenly move the wrong settings
theres 4 rollers youre not using the left 2 in the video
Why do you not use the plotter that often and since that one has quirks, what plotter would you suggest that doesn't have those quirks?
GraphTech
Do you do wraps? Just the the roof of the car
Can this machine cut all sizes for cars? TIA.
You say you need a finer machine for tint, but wouldn’t you just need a finer blade & slow down the cut?
What software do you recommend?
Excellent video 👍
Where can I buy that machine?.
I want a plotter soon but scared how to use it lol
How’s it holding up so far ?
For anyone who’s using plotter currently. So I see how he sets up the machine to cut the main part of the film and leave the thin layer uncut, how do you heat shrink the film if ur already peeling it off?
Gotta be careful at the edges. You can shrink it before you weed it and that helps to prevent burning if you have to shrink the ends a lot.
Can I bay vivor plotter cutter to user it for tint
does the plotter come with software?
my plotter cuts very deep in some parts of the piece and in others it doesn't even touch it. What you think it could be ?
If your plotter has a Teflon strip that the blade cuts against then try replacing the Teflon. There's a good chance that the blade cut too deep on part of the Teflon and now the Teflon surface no longer has an even depth.
What cut pressure settings were you using on the tint?

how do you do that? are you manually measuring then cut according to dimension? where would a person get the car window patterns already digitized?
What software do you use to get he patterns?
Hey bro, how good is the nighttime visibility on the superior charcoal? I’m debating between that and ceramic extreme
Where do you order your tint from?
Thanks, Matt. Great info!

@@DetroitTintStudio THANK YOU BOSS I KNEW YOU COULD HELP ME MERRY X MAX TO YOU ANS YOURE LOVE ONES 🙏🏼💈
Why is my top edge kinda wobbly using the work horse 2
It’s not the machine it’s the role I have a graph tech and I have the same issue but come to find out the role was not rolled up right
Im sure you know by now but you are not supposed to put the rollers on that white outline on the plotter
I tried to cut tint on our graphtec plotter setup for ppf
It was a total disaster
I do it but you have to tweak the software on the computer and the machine
How do I get the software?
Come on 100k!

Tkx for the info bro

should 40x120 film be enough to tint my four side windows and my back window
@Sister Mary Clements agreed, I'd never reccomend diy tinting to save money
@Sister Mary Clements no thanks
It’s gonna be pretty close, is grab some extra. Especially if you haven’t cut tint out before. Ur gonna scrap some film
@@DetroitTintStudio okay so It should be enough but grab some extra dough
That looks IDENTICAL to the uscutter titan 3. Another plotter that isn't worth the money. For that price just get the graphtec or a roland.
Boa noite como posso comprar uma maquina dessa
Unlock the rollers before sliding
Just to make it a little more painful to you: my USCUTTER 28 inch $275 cutter has adjustable position rollers 😄🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
How much does the software costs??

Do you own the software or is it done by subscription?
Omg you took bits of tint off your glass board... My OCD is finally somewhat relieved 😂
I just threw them on the floor 😂
That's a fair price ,and it does vinyl,And Tint? 1,600 is fair
Is this your full time Job? What kind of car do you drive??? I know you must be making BANK! 😁🤑🤑👍🏽👍🏽
That’s a plotter tho
Mesin lambat dan kurang kalau untuk di ajak Bisnis kalau untuk belajar dan untuk mainan boleh
Get rid of this machine and buy yourself the $10K model. End of problem
