These guys give fantastic tips. One of the most important aspects based on my experience is the transfer tape you use. It can wreak havoc on your piece if you use the wrong type. A clean surface is also a major key factor in successful adhesion. One of my biggest challenges since moving from the much smaller Curio to the Cameo is working with large rolled media. Especially off the cutting mats. If you just peel them off you can ruin/wrinkle your cut. I take a metal ruler and slice it off the mat, this way the vinyl comes off flat. Have yet to see on video on this subject anywhere on YT.
You can also use an old roll, to apply transfer tape. Just tack the leading edge of tape down. Place the old roll on top of the mask, and roll it along your weeded graphics, it will push the mask roll along and give an extremely clean and smooth application. Then squeegee.
Another great video. Your crew does amazing work! I don't do a lot of vinyl on vans but occasionally I'll get asked to do one. What is your method when applying. You look like you don't spray the surface down. How do you not get any bubbles and if you do what's your secret on getting them out? Is there a link to the transfer roll? Thanks again,I really enjoy watching someone with great skills.
A couple of things I noticed. I spray the substrate as well as the vinyl. It seems to help with bubbles. Also, I gently squeegee the firs few passes and then press harder. Then I spray the back of the transfer tape to help release it. It's less pull on the vinyl. Anyway...Love your videos!
Good work. I usually start from top to bottom or rigth to left. I also take out the interiors of the letters and numbers and then the rest of the vinyl before aplying the transfer.
Hi, I hope you are doing wonderful. I was wondering do you like using the cameo 4 or do you like using the Titan to plot car decals? What's the one thing that makes you prefer one over the other? Thanks for your tutorial.

It also cleans the substrate without leaving residues, ensuring a contaminant-free installation. Here is our affiliate link: amzn.to/37ZMl5O

Nice work. I might need to upgrade my machine cause my cameo 2 only works good for small stickers. Any time I try to cut long stickers my vinyl seems to go off alignment and gets messed up.
Having a bigger machine than 12 inch will always open more doors for your decal business we encourage you to do research and watch ratings and feedbacks on the machine you planning to get 😊
I have a Graphtec CE6000-60 I bought in 2006, a MK1 with no ARMS(no optical eye so no contour cutting) Its been under wraps for 7 years now but still in good condition. Should I get it out of mothballs out but one of these Cameo's?

If I wanted to cut a 4ft long label decal, how do I do that without a cutting board that long? Can these machines be used without the cutting boards?
Hello! We haven't used this brand in particular, all the videos I saw, the person was using a cutting mat, so I would assume you need to use one every time. This is a huge thing to consider before investing in a vinyl cutter. The only inexpensive cutter which is very similar in size and price is the Cameo 4. We have been able to cut decals 80 inches and longer with this vinyl cutter. I apologize for not having an answer to your question.
