Love the gesture of taking shoes off when entering a home.I live in the US and I practice this all the time, especially with a son who is handicapp and picks up things from the floor. People don't like this but in my house I practice this diligently.
Nanna Lambert I think it’s only good manners to take your shoes off when entering someone’s home!!! ❤️ My hats off to you taking care of a handicap child because life is tough enough but with a handicap child it’s twice as tough!!! Hugs 🤗

Stunning location in the west of Ireland, not far from the Wild Atlantic Way. Fly into Shannon airport,and you'll be at this house in 20mins, no traffic (except for cows)😊

Two years ago my family and me spent some time in Hungary, in a village touristic place. Our host had about 10 geese. Every day we herded them to the nearby river, just under the church, and they spent the day with swimming and wondering around.
In the evening we herded them back. The first night out host gave us sticks and said: come on dont be afraid! - and once i tried to get the geese home i understood why.
There is a reason why we say silly goose because the geese forget the way home in a few hours. On the other hand they are rather agressive, i got a few pinches from them. the kids recall these events with laughter and happiness and they want to go back.
So geese, yes, get them :)

That house is GOERGOUS! I really like the kitchen/floor thing: it's like an illusion. And the wood with the big windows, such a great combo. The old barn they left in front of the kitchen windows is so beautiful. As you said, it gives a unique character. Thank you for sharing and enjoy your detox days =)

That house and the location was really beautiful. I am not a fan of the furtniture/ carpet choice though - i would have rather gone with a cream/beige/wooden colour scheme maybe with some hints of green. Thank you for the house tour!
