    Finally a video that is clear, doesn’t have the presenter shouting at me, and hasn’t got annoying music in the background! More please 🎉

    Just opened up my M1. This video accomplished exactly what you said it would. Machine setup and getting to your first project. Thank you!! Great job.

    Super helpful! Mine came a few weeks ago and I haven't had a chance to set it up, but it's nice to see that it looks like it's going to be a simple process. Now I'm back to just worrying that I don't actually have room for it in my office!

    Very interesting. I had not heard of this machine. I have not thought of moving from my Cricut to the next step of laser cutting yet, but maybe I will now.

    Hello! Question, what about foiling? Can we engraved leather and add foil at the same time?

    Nice video! One question: Can the M1 also be used to engrave ABS plastics, which are often used for device surfaces (e.g. these white power supply units from Apple)?

    I’m so curious about this machine in particular so I’m sure will watch and rewatch your videos on this many times, LOL! Can’t wait to hear what you think of it. I didn’t want to get a Glow Forge because I just don’t believe I’d use it enough to warrant the cost. But this machine has both cutting blade and laser functionality so it has piqued my interest!

    Which machine do you feel is better, Glowforge or the xtool? Im trying to decide which one is the better option for me. Thanks

      It depends what you are making! But since I love cutting acrylic- I usually choose my glowforge pro! But if I was always engraving tumblers- xtool m1 all the way!

    What type of computer do you guys use for this machine? I currently just have my iPad but want a computer or laptop but so stuck on which one to get???

    I am interested in upgrading from my cricut machines because I can’t get them to cut through 7mil Mylar. Would this model be good for making stencils?

    • @KarleyHall
      @KarleyHall  Год назад

      If the Mylar is clear or white- no. It cannot cut through clear or white material! I’d recommend the glowforge!

    Do you need to let the usb connected or you can connect through wifi???

    • @KarleyHall
      @KarleyHall  Год назад +1

      You can set it up through wifi! Mine now runs on wifi but it is way faster when it’s hard lined.

    Can this cut plexiglass

    • @KarleyHall
      @KarleyHall  Год назад

      It can cut some colors of acrylic- but nothing too light and definitely not white or clear.

    Is there anyway of reducing the noise whilst it’s not actually working? It’s so annoying

    • @KarleyHall
      @KarleyHall  Год назад

      You don’t need to have it on when designing- just when lining things up! I leave it off most of the time!
