For my 10W xtool, I use 49% power and 45mm/sec. After wiping it down with LA Totally Awesome, my results come out shiny

Great video, FYI on my machine I’ve been able to use 85 power and 60 speed and the results have been great, with the same cup.
Im curious, did that dramatically affect how long it took to get done? Like did it save more than 5 minutes if any time?

Hi you are great at explaning how to use the tool. I want to ask if you use the air purifier in the place of the air assist or the large x tool air machine. not sure what its called thanks. Im looking for another option to clean the air.

Goof-Off and blue paper towels work best for me for cleaning up the design. A magic eraser is just low grade sand paper and scratches things.

What is the best image to use u said svg or bit map something like that and is there a web site
This helped a ton thank you! I'm having issues with light colored tumblers smudging with the black when I go to clean them off... Any tips to avoid that? Using Mr clean white eraser and I've used the awesome spray 😢

May I ask if you have tried cutting gold and silver acrylic. Also, would it make a difference if you left on the protection sheet on the acrylic ☺️

Have you tried other size tumblers? My M1 will not correctly engrave any size I try and separates the svg and smears it all over the cup...I am burning through a clients YETI tumblers and I am so disappointed in this xtool that I am about to return it for a refund. Thought I would ask before returning it
First time i have ever heard cameras cannot look at the laser. Ive seen many do it and ive done it.
Yah a lot of people don’t realize! It can ruin a camera sensor and I spent too much on mine to risk it!

Karly- do you like the Xtool over the glowforge? I'm on the fence on which I should get. I like the xtool so far. What are your thoughts?
If I need to laser cut anything- I use my glowforge! But if I need to engrave a conical shape- only option is the xtool! So my glowforge gets much more laser time! It can cut clear and light colors since it’s a CO2 laser and is way faster!

I just got everything setup per your video, my image is a jpg from svg less than 1MB it is taking forever to render a preview so I can start it, is that normal? It's stuck

Haha yah it’s not fast! Diode lasers like this are so slow!!! But you get what you pay for!
Is your M1 a 5W machine or 10W? Just wondering if that would have an effect on the power settings.
Great question- I have the 10w. You’d need to adjust your settings if you have the 5w. :)

which rotary tool is this? I have the Makerblock ! Xtool and it did not come with the holder for the end of the cup or the level.
