Try checking for thin pin striping tape in your area or Amazon. Then lay down the color you want as a thin line, let it dry and put the pin striping tape down and paint over it.
I am not a golfer so I had to google what the putter looked like. From the pictures it totally looks like you could paint it. The design gives some really cool lines to mask for contrast. Clean it really well, mask and then scuff the areas you want to paint. I used automotive paint which is very durable so I don't know how well other types of paint would hold up.
Wearing the same shirt that you had on the day before which had the same paint spatter on. You’ll not be spray painting my car or golf clubs, good try though
I dont like the attitude of "its just a golf club". An item is an item in my shop. They all get the same treatment regardless of what they are and size
@@FoothillPaintandFabrication definitely not the right attitude. He asked for a paint job, you're a PAINT shop and he got a half done job. Doesn't matter what it is, if you agree to take on the project that's literally within scope of the shops name it should be handled professionally. None of this "its just a golf club" and give it the faster it's out of here attitude. It sucks to see small minded people refuse to do a good job because it's not important to them.
@@Stealth_Bomber If it was a paying customer and not for a long time friend that wanted a quickie repaint of a club that was given to him it would have been cleared and polished. He still uses it today and gets compliments all the time.
@@StevenCampbell-ci8rd Oh I know what you mean as I have friends that golf almost daily and many that golf at least once a week. For them it is a passion and a curse...
Choosing paint for putter - flat, matte, semi-gloss, or gloss? Thanks!
Gloss is easier to clean but a semi gloss I think would look more factory. I would stay away from flat though.

Oh yeah. That scuff really messes with the aero. He’s probably losing even more than 2-3 strokes. I was thinking 5-10.
He told me he gets a lot of comments on the course, not sure if he dropped any strokes or not.
personally I can't put with putter with a dinged up top line. It kills me mentally.

Good point but to a non golfer like me it is just another club. He is still using it and gets compliments on it so it all worked out in the end.
