I do not know why are the buses so much louder in North America than in Europe? In Europe you can hardly hear them, especcially the trolley buses. I have to carry an ear plug with me all the time on the buses in North America.

Daniel K It's an electric minibus that the RTC (the agency running the buses in Quebec city) acquired around 2007 or 2008 for the 400th anniversary of the city. They are called "ecolobus".

Daniel K Yes, they only run on the old Quebec City on smaller lines.
