I worked in the building with the Point Zero sign a couple of years ago and I enjoyed seeing all the buses bound for the TCV arriving just under my office's window (I was on the Mansfield side of the building, second floor). Back then, there were still quite a few RTL Classics (some with rollsigns even, the 9-000 series I believe) during rush hour. And also watching trains leaving Central Station of course!
Even in the afternoon the bus terminal in downtown is overcrowded. I must only imagine that during the morning it is worst. I have a friend who lives in the south shore and he uses those buses. Many times he had to disembark in the streets instead of using the terminal.
The stm should kept a few classics as spares but the stm loves to waste tax dollars on junk buses that catch on fire. STM = Stupid Transit of Montreal.
wow great video
it looked FREEZING. You're a champ for standing out there that long
+Robert W Thanks.

Is that the Bus terminal-Greyhound/Voyageur,Coach Canada,Orleans Express the former voyageur terminal that was demolished and a new one built?
no thats further away..
When was that destroyed. I stayed at the Hotel de Gouverneurs and took the buses to Quebec and Ottawa. Where is the new station?

Awesome shots!!
Nice shots man! I have to get my ass down there sometime.
Downton Abbey? No, it's the downton bus terminal!
That is quite a lot of busses. You never once complained about the cold. It looked like it was to me. I could hear the wind in the recording.
It seems sooooo lonely with out the classics. ;( Nice first gens thought.
Ahhhhh Spring time in Montreal. If they don't fill those crater sized "potholes" , soon they will be missing entire vehicles
Impressive!
Was it during the afternoon rush hour or the morning rush hour?
afternoon
